Wonderful location as the resort was used a base point for exploring the Sunshine Coast. The beds were super comfortable. Even our 89 year old mother had no complaints. Super friendly and helpful staff, recommending things to see and do. The Spa and Spa Garden was deliciously relaxing. Even fell asleep during my facial! Highly recommend as a getaway location. We will be back!

The Painted Boat Resort and Spa is absolutely beautiful! It overlooks Pender Harbour. Great view from the outdoor infinity pool! It has a spa and restaurant. The villa that I stayed in was perfect. It was beautifully decorated and had everything you could need. Two balconies with stunning views, a fireplace, barbeque, jet tub in the ensuite bathroom. The beds are very comfortable and there was a choice of pillow types and a robe to use for the pool. The staff are friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautiful. The parking is well marked and ample for an additional vehicle.||||This resort is in the perfect location for day trips up and down the Sunshine Coast. Madeira Park is a great little area with a BC Liquor store, an IGA, a drugstore, a few small shops, restaurants and coffee shops. I highly recommend taking the Slocat Tour of the harbour. It was an amazing experience. So many little bays and coves to explore. The tour guide, Christian, made it very fun and interesting. Lots of history in that harbour.||||I can't recommend this resort enough!

What a awesome experience! Joy was fabulous and the rest of the office staff was great. The room was large and well appointed with amazing views from the living room, deck and bedroom. The pool and Hot tub was also great with a nice view of the marina. My wife had a facial from Nell and she raved about how knowledgeable and what a great experience it was. Madeira park was pretty sleepy at this time of year but it was a great mini getaway. We also had dinner at the Lagoon Restaurant and the service and food was great. Can’t wait until we return!

I am writing this review just to warn others as summer is coming up with more hot temperatures likely. You may want to bring a portable AC. (fans do nothing for the heat in these rooms).||We had planned a 3 day visit to the resort for June 8-11. When we arrived we were met with an extremely HOT suite. After attempts of lowering the blinds, opening windows, turning on all the fans, cold wet clothes etc the temperature in the room just kept increasing as the sun was hitting the huge windows from all sides. When the temperature finally hit 31 degrees in the room at 7 p.m. we decided we would not be able to stay the 3 days as there is NO AC at this resort.||I went to reception and spoke at length with Alexis who called her manager (Sherrie) and in the end they were very kind and told us they would not charge us for the final 2 nights as we had no choice but to check out. We ended up leaving the hotel at 0530 in the morning after having no sleep due to the heat. The room was just starting to cool off around 0500. ||The other thing that was odd for a "resort" is the restaurant is not open on Sunday and Mondays. We have travelled the world and "resorts" have some availability for food 7 days a week. This felt more like a B&B as no food options, no staff on site after 8 p.m. pool closes at 8 p.m.||But I do want to thank Alexis and Sherrie for their kindness, but we wanted to warn those that may have reservations for the summer. I wish I had looked at previous reviews related to the lack of AC prior to booking.

Everything is good as usual. The only thing is that due to the festival for that weekend, the restaurant could only offer a 3-course meal at $85 p.p. and no other choice. The steak was order medium rare but they were medium cooked. Other dishes were fine.||

Delightful full service apartments with great amenities in a quiet and secluded part of Madeira Park. Couldn’t say enough about the peace and tranquility of the area people are so friendly. Apartments are clean and very spacious and have gorgeous views over the bay and marina. Highly recommend this if peace and calm is what you desire. The spa gets high ratings but we could fit in a visit within our schedule.

This was our first visit to the Painted Boat Resort. We loved it and would highly recommend it! Our suite was really beautiful, very well equipped and had an incredible view. We very much appreciated the upgrade on the occasion of our 40th wedding anniversary. Our sunset dinner at the Lagoon Restaurant was delicious and the spa experience lovely. Thank you so much! We will be back and stay longer next time!

Super pretty location! Lovely spa and restaurant, I had a facial from Erin and she was awesome! My boyfriend had the RMT massage from Elyse, and was super happy with it! Would definitely recommend, and would want to come back with friends and family! Everyone was super friendly and professional.
