I had my daughters baby shower here on Saturday, August 10 everything was outstanding.

Rick was fantastic! He was easy to get a hold of and always returned my messages or phone call within 24 hours . He opened the restaurant early for us to come in and set up.

unfortunately I cannot remember our waitresses name, but she was also fantastic very attentive and so extremely pleasant I can't thank her enough for offering to come in early also for her shift.

We did a buffet style with eight different items. Everything was hot and tasty with more than enough food.
I would highly recommend doing your next event here.

I love Taps! It’s great place to go out with friends for a fun night. Good drinks, fun atmosphere, great music. BIG shoutout to Alex!! All the staff members I have met are awesome and take their job very seriously.

Security is trash, just want money from you to get in. One buddy was turned away at the door for not having his ID. He was a 50+ year old grey haired male obviously well above legal age. Clientele are all children once we got in.... Not like it was when I used to go years ago

I love eating at the tap. They have great service and the food is better than your average pub. My go to is the Buffalo chicken wrap and Greek salad or sweet potato fries. They have a great drink.list as well that include beers from some of my favourite breweries. The nachos are also amazing. When it isn't covid there is great live music as well.

We were regulars for a very long time. They raised their prices after they opened after another lock down (understandable, if quantity and quality stayed the same). We were excited that they were open again and ordered our regular meals. We ordered the tap chicken sandwich (used to be 2 tenders on a bun) powerbowl salad and a side of fries. I literally couldn't see the chicken in the sandwich in most places and outside of that it was paper thin. The $8 side fries my wife got were soaked in oil/ over cooked and were basically all the left over little bits. I tried to email them first to defend themselves with no response, pretty disappointed...

The Tap and Tankard is a great casual place to come here and enjoy a beer and some finger foods with your friends and family. The service is actually very quick and the food here is delicious. The prices here are reasonable. I won’t say it’s the cheapest but I wouldn’t say it is expensive as well. The staff here are also very friendly. Will surely come back here again in the future.

Absolutely delicious fish and chips! They greeted me, told me I could sit anywhere, proceeded to their nice bathrooms, and then I got an amber old flame, which was also great. The fish and chips came with Ketchup, Gravy, and a great coleslaw. Everything was great, and our staff member was very helpful. Will be back again and again whenever we visit Whitby!
