A wonderful find on a friday date night. The service was great and knowledgeable about the food and friendly. The food was delicious, piping hot and well presented and generous portions. I was happy to see selections for vegetarians that were as interesting and varied as for meat eaters.
I definitely will be telling all my friends and will come back to try the other dishes.

This place was a surprising find... Went there on a Saturday and they had a Brunch Buffet... Loved it and ate so much... The spread had Pancakes, Spring rolls, Bacon, Sausage,Hams, Scrambled Eggs, Omlette, Home fries, Fried Rice, Pancit Bihon, Chicken Adobo, Crispy Fried Chicken, Mongolian Pork, Croissants, Toasts and coffee/tea and juices...

Extremely friendly and sweet service. Shout out to the sweet lady Bell who was serving us with a smile. She was really understanding for the fact that one of us was a pure vegetarian and he could order a fully vegetarian friedrice and Sisig with tofu... He loved the dish too.

If you wanna eat a lot for your breakfast, don't miss this Brunch. Do not expect a 5* Hotel experience. But the place has a good ambience and decent food at a decent price...

At the time of writing this review, the current rating of the restaurant is 4.9 stars which I have to honestly admit, is a complete understatement. The food was so good, we actually came back two days in a row. On the first day, it was very quiet as we were the only customers for the night, the second night was the complete opposite as it was completely full and we had to wait over an hour to get a seat. On the third day, we came in for lunch and was able to get a seat again. The food was so flavourful and satisfying and our waiter (I think he was the owner too) was very friendly and shared with us how he came to Canada to start this business. I highly recommend the sizzling pork sisig which honestly could have been one of the best meals that I have ever had in my life.

Never ever did we think there would be authentic Filipino food in a small town but man, delicious doesn't even begin to describe it.
There's a reason this has all five stars! The food was hearty and comforting and filling! Good portions, great prices, excellent service, and we had such a delightful meal we personally thanked the owner.
The Palabok had big shrimps and generous amounts of ground pork! The garlic bread that came with it was yummy too!
My husband had the Adobo which had large pieces of chickens and the soya sauce was thick and sweet.
As full as we were after, we couldn't pass on the Halo halo which is one of the best I've ever had. The ingredients blended perfectly together and it was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal.

Highly recommend anyone passing by to stop here to enjoy some wonderful food!!

Update: We came back for breakfast! And had the porksilog and special silog. Everything was good but the fried pork was overcooked and tough. It did get more tender closer to the bone. We ordered another halo halo because why not!

We enjoyed a terrific lunch at Isla Kusina. We ordered from the all-day breakfast menu, which includes both Western and Filipino options. The food was excellent! And I was glad to taste some authentic food from the Philippines in Sydney. The portions are satisfying and the service is warm and fast. I’ll definitely return here again to try more from their menu. Highly recommended!

Yum yum yum! We had a great experience at Isla Kusina this evening. Excellent and friendly service and amazing food. My husband travelled to the Philippines for work and he said the atmosphere and food at Isla Kusina really reminded him of his time there. We're looking forward to trying the weekend brunch next!

Very friendly people. Love the view and the food. Recommend trying halo-halo, sisig and calamari 😍
They also have good catering and delivery.
They serve canadian food too and they have a small bar inside 😊
