Love love this place. I've been there 3 times over the last few months. The teachers and students are very friendly and the prices are wonderful. Sarah was my esthetician, with great attention to detail, and her leg and hand massages are of the chain. She comes highly recommended. I've had a mani pedi, gel nails, spa pedi, and eyebrows done. Remember to tip your student. Will be definitely going back.

I've almost exclusively had my hair done at the Salon for over a decade and always come out with a fresh style. Recently, I've been visiting the Aesthetics Salon & Spa and I can't rave enough about the fun interactions with the students, the professionalism and the workmanship. Anyone that hires students from CBBC will not be disappointed. The prices are very affordable this year along I've had waxing, nails and pedicures all done!

I got my hair cut by a student, and it was his very first cut on a real person! He was very friendly and did a great job! The instructor who helped guide him was chipper and professional. The salon is super clean. I will be back!

I am a student at the training salon. The staff are very helpful and professional. A positive atmosphere. Jess and Aimee make coming to class enjoyable, all teachers including Tracy is very helpful when we are out on the floor!

Fabulous new haircut from the tutor (I forgot to ask her name!) at CBBC, demonstrating for the lovely Breanna who then did the blow-dry & styling. It's a milder version of an asymmetrical undercut 💇🏼‍♀️. I'm very happy with the cut and styling, and I will definitely return. Initially, I was using a travel power-chair, however, the "ramps" at every entrance took up so much space on the sidewalk, and were so badly done, that I had to switch to manual mode so my husband could push me! Obviously, that's NOT the fault of the college, presumably accessibility from the car-park to each unit's main entrance is the property owner's responsibility 😊. All of the college staff members and students with whom I spoke were polite, friendly, helpful, and dealt with my disabilities extremely well (including cognitive dysfunction). They made sure I was comfortable at the shampooing station, as well as at the styling seat. There was an accessible washroom in the salon. For those who aren't sure about where the entrance is, the hair salon entrance is to the left side of the block (facing the rear of the building) and has the CBBC logo on it. The cosmetology salon is to the right, and the double doors are marked with college decals on the glass. The students are well trained, well supervised, and the tutors all undertake CPD (continuing professional development) to stay current with the latest techniques and styles. Last but not least, the prices are amazing 🤩
