I booked this hotel in November for my daughter's year end hockey tournament in march, choosing a non-refundable rate because we had never needed to cancel a reservation before. Unfortunately, the tournament location was changed at the end of January, leaving us with a hotel an hour away from the new venue.

I called the hotel to see if there was any way to modify or cancel the booking, understanding that a full refund might not be possible. Initially, they said a manager would call me back, but no one did. When I followed up, the manager was extremely rude, belittling me for even making the request and using condescending analogies to make me feel at fault. I wasn’t demanding special treatment—just hoping for a reasonable discussion.

By the end of the call, he said he would speak to the owner and maybe refund one night, but once again, no one followed up. We will still be staying here, but after this experience, we certainly won’t be booking this hotel again. A rigid policy is one thing, but poor customer service is another.

I appreciate that you ultimately chose to cancel the reservation as a goodwill gesture, though this only happened after multiple calls and being treated with hostility by your manager. My review was not simply about the cancellation policy but about the poor customer service, including being belittled and ignored when I initially reached out. A rigid policy is one thing, but how a business treats its customers—especially when they’re making a reasonable request—is another. I hope future guests have a more professional experience than I did.

First arriving checking in after 5pm there was a little girl running around with barefoot as you check in behind the desk The place was not clean .Then we went upstairs to our room as we entered in the front door the ceiling tiles and dry wall was missing showing pipes and showing from a previous leak!!! Not fixed for a long time . the room was okay but not really clean As we checked in we asked about the swimming pool he said it's closed We have to wait for the next day. Then the next day in the am we came downstairs and asked about the swimming pool and he said its still closed he said it will open around 2pm and We asked again and then he said no Then he said after 6 PM we asked again still closed. and the reason we booked this hotel was for the Swimming Pool with the hot tub. He said they needed a part but it look closed for a while. we have to wait for a part and it's funny that they order it from Amazon As there's no plumbers in the location areas LoL. So we only stayed one night and at 6pm we check out. and we were staying in the area for 3 days

Never believe pictures online when checking in. All ways call ahead.!!

And want to the hotel next to it . It was day and night ! Excellent service very clean very big rooms bathrooms kitchen with cook top dishwasher big fridge. Nice pool rooms everything. you can even borrow from umbrellas to games to small appliances and more .

Had a great stay! The hotel was clean and comfortable with amazing service. A big thank you to Amanpreet and team for early and delicious breakfast. Highly recommend!

Room was clean and comfortable, the staff were very accommodating and welcoming, and breakfast every morning was great. Big shout out to Aman, she was kind and attended to all of our breakfast needs. I would definitely stay again, Thank you Comfort Inn.
