Minimum stay is 7 days with no flexibility. You can’t expect someone to book 7 days. Meanwhile, they have plenty of sites available. Clearly these people are not smart business people.

Literally the worst customer service I’ve EVER experienced. I watched this horrendous “staff” member be blatantly rude to an elderly women who was simply asking for clarification.

If you want to stay somewhere and feel like you’re staying in a prison, I highly suggest this place.
I mean who actually wants to spend money and be happy and relaxed ?
I would literally rather stay in the jungle with poison ivy than ever step foot is this trash can of a “park”

We arrived mid afternoon on a Friday and found the owners very friendly and welcoming. We were shown to our site by the owner which I find the perfect way to welcome us to the park rather than toss us a map and expect us to drive around and hope for the best. We purchased wood at the office and was pleasantly surprised to find a generous amount of wood rather than the 4 or 5 sticks sold at most parks. It is obvious by the condition of the trees and grounds that this park is well looked after. The washrooms were updated and spotless. The pool was not yet opened so I can't comment on that. We are not loud party people so this was a great place for us. Sites are large..well treed and private. I would definately recommend Green Acres and would go back and camp there again.

We were not impressed with our campsite or the service/attitude of all we encountered at this campground. Being from the Bruce-Grey area, I was excited to come "back home" but from the moment we arrived the staff were curt and did not give us adequate explanations about the campground. Our kids missed out on the wagon rides because no one mentioned it. We weren't prepared for the pay showers. And most disappointing was our site. When we booked we asked the staff member over the phone for advice on picking a good campsite for 3 kids. Our site was almost all dirt with no grass and we were not allowed to use our carpet because it kills the grass. When we stated that our lot did not have grass, the staff member told us "well monkey see, monkey do". The wifi is also terrible. We could not get service at our site, even though we had asked prior to booking if the wifi was good in all areas of the park. When we asked why we were told that the wifi was good, the staff member told us "if I told everyone about the wifi then no one would come here. You're camping!" We also brought our 2 dogs because this campground advertised with a dog park. At the dog park we had 2 very negative experiences, one a lady waited for us to leave and told us "we take turns". The second, a man approached our 11 and 12 year old children. He said "Are you leaving today, because I'm sick of hearing your dog". My daughter cried half the way home because she couldn't understand why this man has intimidated her. Our dogs were barking in the dog park. But isn't that what the dog park is for? At our campsite we were respectful of others by muzzling our dogs if they started to bark and they were always leashed. There were other dogs around us barking but we not the distinct impression that no one cared about us as visitors to the campground. The regulars or seasonal campers were the most important people. We felt very unwelcome and we will not return.

This is a great park!!! No loud parties or drunk people falling down like I have seen in many parks on the weekend. The staff is great and very friendly!!! There is a great choice of sites to fit what you want. The park is very clean with updated washroom and laundry facilities. There is a nice pool and playground for the kids.||WIFI could be better but that would be my only issue. There is a nice clean dog run for the pooches as well. The park suites us as there is a golf course that backs on to the property. There are trails in the back that you can follow right into town.||We intended to try many parks but but this is the one we love!!!!!||If you want a loud party park this is not for you. If you want quiet, safe and friendly, you will love it!!!!!!

Our site itself was nice. Good size. Pretty private. Not all the sites were as private as ours. I asked for a private site when booking and was very pleased with the selection. The pool was nice too.

The playground was not great. Not very entertaining for little kids. Also, not walking distance to a lake. But a Pretty quick drive to a good beach.

The biggest reason why I'm giving this site a lower rating is because the employees and their rules were intrusive. For example, once we had set up our site and camper a man pulled up to our site in a golf cart. Took a minute to finish his cigarette while my family watched him. Then he pulled a large (12 x 18 ft) burlap rug thing out of his golf cart and told us to replace our tiny mat with the burlap one. We had to take down our clothing line. Then we had to sign some paper about the mat that we were forced to use. It was very odd. And they drove around watching you a lot.

So, we'll go to Inverhuron Provincial Park next time. I do not recommend Green Acres.

Beautiful and clean park. We have camped in many places before, but i can certainly say nothing compares to what Green Acres has offered. extremely clean washrooms and showers, campsites are very private and with lots shade. There is lots to do and see within the park..trails to walk, basketball court, super clean swimming pool. But we loved the most is the staff and the seasonal residents of this park, they were very friendly and helpful. they really make you feel at home...Will come back for sure!!! And as bonus the beaches nearby were very clean and with warm water.

Staff was friendly.
Owner was anything but friendly. I don't think she appreciates the business.
Sites are in full sun with a single tree so be ready to carry your picnic table around for shade. Kinda like walmart parking lot.
Owner likes to make up rules on the fly it seems.
Not recommended at all.
Gun range right next door so shotguns popping off all day long.
Small bags of expensive wood and you MUST use their wood only!
Don't fall for the high rated reviews, obviously put in by the owners.
