It’s very bad experience with this spa. We booked an appointment at 5pm and at 4:30pm staff called us and informed they are short of staff and have to move appointment to another date. Moreover, we asked for Groupon, they said we can pay Groupon money to them but RMT won’t do massage for Groupon price. We are very disappointed with their customer service. I would highly suggest everyone please be careful with these kind of spas and don’t book appointments with them.

Purchased a groupon and the business was completely unresponsive. Website was no longer active and the phone number provided was out of service. Tried calling the number on Google and the messages were full and no one would answer. Don’t waste your time or money

I visited Oceana Medi Spa at Pickering for a facial. The experience was fantastic - incredibly relaxing, and my skin feels remarkably softer. Hyacinth was gentle and she explained each and every step involved in my facial. I was able to notice the difference in my face right away. The spa's was calm and clean. The wait time was short. The team was exceptionally accommodating and was friendly throughout. I highly recommend this spa for a top-notch experience!

I have purchased a deal to this establishment through Groupon but unfortunately was never able to use it.

I should have trusted my instinct when it took over over 5 phone calls, back and more emails/texts back and forth just to get a booking. When I finally got through and confirmed for a date and time, I got a email for a complete different massage and time. I find out that I was only to be booked in that day of that was a mistake after rearranging my day for the appointment to be asked to schedule for next week due to a error. You can imagine how frustrating and disappointed I was.

I would recommend the business to also have a signature for emails at the end of messages (name, role and business name, address )as well as answering the phone with the business name would be a bit more professional. A professional script of greetings/appointments and such would be nice.
I felt like i was imposing on someones free time or called/emailed the wrong contact. I hope the disorganization of scheduling has a better method to avoid disappointed potential clients.

Edit to owners comment: I was AVAILABLE that day you booked for the appointment. Maybe see text messages from your business to tell me that the appointment was a mistake and has been cancele ? I even said I rearranged my entire day for the massage. Very confused on the miscommunication when someone texted me telling me there is a mistake but now I was considered a no show? I am happy to show text messages with whomever I was speaking of with your business to confirm this. I was not a no show for something that was canceled.

Oceana Medi Spa is clean the staff are friendly and professional. on average I go to this spa three to four times a month and I can't complain. Massages, facial, IV Treatment, teeth whitening, Botox you name it I have never had a bad experience. Even on days when I go for my morning walks I stop by for a motivation smile

The receptionist is very unfriendly, I purchased a voucher on Groupon and contacted them to book an appointment.. the first thing the lady asked me why I purchased it through Groupon with a very unfriendly tone.
I understand why you have it on Groupon when you don’t want people to purchase on there.
I hope she learns to talk to people with a friendly tone and be professional.

I recently realized that oceana medi spa is close to where I live and I must say it’s the best medi spa in Pickering (and I’ve been to many)! They have great prices and I have been noticing good results from my facials. I also regularly get the IV vitamin drips, which has boosted my energy levels. They truly have everything you need here, I get to see my chiropractor and my naturopathic doctor, which is super convenient - one stop shop haha. Already told all my family members about it. Highly recommend !

Very unprofessional place!

Every time I went for my laser hair appointment, they were always late. When they arrived they always give me excuses such as “my car broke down” or “I was stuck in traffic”…

ALSO I did not get any good result from the laser. I did over 8 sessions and ended up spending over $1500, and still no result.

I usually don’t like to leave any bad reviews anywhere, but honestly this place deserves it. The ladies are kind but they really need to work on professionalism and getting organized as an organization.
