In a rare moment of taking some time to actually treat myself, I made an appointment with Pure and Simple for a Sea Salt Micro Facial (which I had never had done before, but sounded interesting). I've never really had any kind of skincare routine, but the older I get the more I realize it's probably something I should pay more attention to. From the moment you walk into the building, you're greeted by such a warm atmosphere, and more than likely a big smile from the owner Leslie. She took the time to explain a few different options for me before we settle on the Sea Salt one, and I was led into the treatment room by Jasmin.

Again, not being a regular customer of this kind of service, I didn't really know what to expect, but from the moment the treatment began I knew I was in good hands. Jasmin gently explained each part of the treatment, and regularly checked in to make sure everything was still okay. To say I was relaxed would be a massive understatement. I could literally feel the stress melting away. Oh and the scalp massage? How I didn't fall asleep on the table is beyond me. Add on to that how clear and soft my face looks now? Absolute win. I did also get a sample of the moisturizer she used in my session, and bought a cleanser as well. I guess I'm a skincare routine guy now.

Do yourself a favour and invest in some self-care. From the experiences I've had there now, they're worth their weight in gold.

Just had a wonderful facial experience at Pure + Simple Oshawa so thought I'd share incase you were in a similar situation and were looking for a good provider. I've tried many who provide services at home but it's always lacked something and coming from Scarborough, with so many good options, I was looking for a place that's not only convenient to book, but is reasonably priced, while giving me a result that's visible. I usually book their monthly special so that I'm not paying the full price. They have two estheticians who are very good, and the owner Leslie is this lovely down to earth woman whose goal is to ensure her clients are happy. It's her sincerity and honesty that encouraged me to share this experience.

I've tried them 4 times so far and the experience was consistent!

Not affiliated in any way nor do I get kickbacks for this ? Just trying to spread the word incase you, like myself, are tired of looking for that perfect esthetician.

I opted for a signature facial to let the aesthetician suggest the best treatment for my skin condition. Jasmine was amazing. She did a wonderful job at offering a great facial while ensuring I was comfortable throughout. The place was clean. Owner is great to chat with and personable. Genuinely interested in providing great services without being too pushy or salesy.

I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a great facial.

Had such a wonderful experience!!! After experiencing Pure and Simple at the Yorkville location for years, I wanted to find a similar experience after relocating to Durham! Lo and behold, Pure and Simple has a location in Oshawa!!! They were able to squeeze me in the same day and help me tackle bacterial acne (something I had never experienced before). The facialist was kind, gentle, and knowledgeable. I had a chance to chat with the owner who was professional and passionate about client skin health and wellness!! Terrific experience I highly recommend!!

I had such a great experience as always. Yailin did my cool as a cucumber facial, but you can’t go wrong with any facial there. They have the latest technology and don’t rush the process. My skin looked and felt great. I was so relaxed after a hard day and had a lovely chat with the owner, Leslie. Definitely my favourite place to get a facial for quality, price and they don’t push you to buy products or services.

This place makes booking a quality facial Pure + Simple! Finally, a Pure + Simple location out in the east end. Not only does it make it more convenient to get to but this is my favourite location yet. Don't be deceived by the location and what it looks like on the outside - there is a treasure with in. Yailin was my esthetician and she went above and beyond. She didn't rush me, push product and even customized their special to my skin's needs. I've always liked Pure + Simple's facials but it's just the last bit where they push products that kill me, but Leslie's location is not like that at all!

Will definitely be coming back. If you're new to facials, you can try one of their monthly specials which is usually about $15 off. In addition to my beautiful glass skin at the end of my facial, they also gave me a free welcome gift as a first-timer at this location 🙂
