It's a small private zoo owned and maintained by a family. Has few wild and domestic animals. All in enclosures but. Ok for a visit if you are passing by that side.

Great Zoo! Very well laid out with just the right amout to walking in between pens. Very very affordable compared to other big Zoos. Very knowledgable guide! Keep up the good work and enjoy the photos 🙂

Small zoo. Expectional amount of animals. Excellent guided tour of dangerous animals enclosures followed by on own for remainder of enclosures. Will be visiting again every year.

I start by saying that I am not a big fan of zoos, but I appreciate they can play an important role. What I share is our grandson's assessment. He enjoyed the visit because he saw animals he had never seen before that were cool. That said, in my opinion, the enclosures appeared to be too small. One zoo to learn from is the Yukon Wildlife Preserve, which made a business decision to provide large and native habitats for the rescue animals it displays - just a suggestion.

So much potential. The property is large and spacious for animal enclosures. Whether the pens meet the size standards, I don't think the Lions, Tigers and Gator will agree...some enclosures seemed generous while others seemed too small.
The land appears to be left to grow naturally, which is lovely, however, it does appear to be unkept and overgrown; I highly recommend cleaning up the piles of scrap equipment and putting some money and labour into the curbside appeal.
Our family of 10 enjoyed our visit last week, it was $144.00 and felt that was fair as we know the care for the animals is expensive. Having said that, given the 30+ years we were told it has been open, it would be nice to see some improvements to the land.

Very cute and nice zoo. We also had a tour with all the information about all the animals that were there. And we really enjoyed it. They prefer payment by cash, so make sure that you have cash with you, but you can still pay with a credit card, also the tours are every hour, so come close to the hour that you want to visit them, and just pay and you all set to go. I definitely recommend going there with the kids.

Great little spot to spend an hour or so. Guided tour for about 1/2 hour then you can roam the last half at your leisure. Check their Facebook page for updates and schedules.
