It was my first time coming here and the experience was exceptional. Yesterday was my mom’s Birthday and I wanted to treat her to a relaxing spa day. Now before coming here, I had read the reviews and was getting mixed feelings about taking her here, as some people were displeased with the service(wasn’t my experience though). Customer service was exceptional from the moment we arrived to when we left and cleanliness is definitely prioritized here. It was our first time and the staff were really good in helping us navigate the facilities. The Spa is beautiful, clean and has a great ambiance. They give you the option of wearing their free robes or a shirt and shorts and then if you want you can buy their slippers for $3.50(most people I saw at the spa were wearing the slippers). I booked my mom for the RMT hot stone massage and she absolutely loved it (We met a woman and her mother who also got massages here and they loved it as well). Although it might be on the pricey side but it was well worth it. The hot rooms across the spas were my favourite as I found it both relaxing and detoxing. The infrared lights were also a personal favourite and based on how these sections were full for most of the day, it seemed like most people liked it as well. The food here is also good and the customer service was excellent. This spa experience superseded my exceptions and my mom had such an amazing time.

I spent 15 hours at GoPlaySpa and honestly didn’t even notice how much time had passed. That’s how relaxing it was!!! This place has officially become one of my new favorite spots for self-care. You can just show up, be yourself, and chill without feeling rushed or like you have to leave.

I had both lunch and dinner there, took two naps, and made my way through all the different therapeutic waters and rooms. Everything was so well thought out. The little touches like Dyson hair dryers, skincare essentials, and quiet lounge spaces just made it even better.

The rooms were all beautiful, but the Jade Room was definitely my favorite. It felt so calming and grounding. I left feeling recharged, rested, and already planning my next visit. If you’re looking for a place to unplug and treat yourself, this is it. Period!

After 10pm is definitely less busy. Received a fairly decent massage here. The facility is quite big so it’s easy to spend a few hours here. Drinks are good, food is just okay though, nothing special but what you would expect. Service is quite quick though.
Good space to hang out and use the rooms however they should definitely enforce “quiet” spaces in the sleeping areas and in the rooms as it is a spa. The music also gets quite old and repetitive.

Go Place has been one of my favorite indoor spas, and I’ve visited many times. I’ve also recommended it to several people. However, I strongly advise against booking a massage there. The management system around their massage services is extremely disappointing.

After the massage, they ask you to rate your experience, but if you don’t give them an “excellent” rating, they pressure you and make you feel uncomfortable. During my most recent visit, I rated my massage as “average” because it genuinely fell below expectations. The masseuse confronted me aggressively, demanding to know why I didn’t rate her higher. When I tried to explain, she argued and dismissed my feedback entirely.

She physically blocked me from leaving and continued to question me. I was there with my family and my in-laws, and the whole situation left me feeling anxious and embarrassed. It was incredibly unprofessional and made what was supposed to be a relaxing experience very stressful.

If you can’t handle honest feedback, you shouldn’t be asking guests to rate their experiences at all. We go to spas to relax—not to be treated poorly for being honest.

First time at this 24 hour spa and it will not be my last! The massage was deep tissue and incredible! Total relaxation at this place. The ambiance is dark and cozy and quiet. The various rooms, like the salt room are so fun. You can go from room to room, order bubble tea delivered by a friendly robot, and then enjoy the steam room and hot tub.
There is a restaurant too and you can eat with your robe on. LOVED it!

What a great place! I went here with a friend for the first time and we both loved it. It's perfect for relaxing and relieving stress. The experience was really enjoyable—definitely a fun way to spend the day.
The place is also very clean, and there is a service fee which I didn’t mind it at all because the service was excellent and everything was well-maintained. One thing I especially appreciated was the well-designed interior and the quality of the rooms. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Having visited this spa twice prior to writing this review, I can attest to its luxurious appearance and ambiance. The renovation efforts are evident, with a clear focus on creating a peaceful atmosphere. However, the change room environment is surprisingly loud, with patrons conversing in various languages and staff members chatting, creating a marketplace-like ambiance.
The uniforms provided, made from polyester, are a concern due to their environmental impact. Although the main area is somewhat quieter, the overall noise level remains a distraction. I also find it inconvenient that guests are not allowed to bring their own slippers.
The food options are average but sufficient. I am skeptical about the RMT massages due to their high prices and concerns regarding authenticity. A 12% service charge is added to the bill, which, although unwelcome, is understandable. The spa is adequately staffed.
Considering the $350 per couple price point, alternative options such as Thermea, Vetta, or Scandinave Spa is more favourable. Nevertheless, the convenience of this spa's location and its uniqueness within the GTA may lead to a future visit.
