Today I visited them for the first time, they welcomed me very kindly and fortunately they had a 30 minute appointment available, so I didn't miss the opportunity and had the massage, the therapist's name is David Symonds, who was very kind and excellent in his job.

The waiting room is nice and they have products for sale on display.

They have several rooms comfortably prepared to perform therapeutic massage and other services.

They have the possibility of becoming a member by paying a therapeutic massage or facial per month (subscription that is debited monthly from the card you assign) which means that once a month you can go and have your therapy done, but additionally if you want to have another service done the same day or another day at special rate.

In my case I have insurance with partial coverage for therapeutic massage and I can make the reimbursement with the receipt they gave me.

I went to Hand & Stone and had an Oxygen Facial with Stephanie. Let me tell you it was amazing. Stephanie is truly a professional and very talented at what she does. I highly recommend going to see Stephanie at Hand and Stone Whitby.

Went there for the first time and had an excellent massage from Diana. She is highly experienced and intuitive and a pleasure to converse with. Diana was very gentle and knew all the right pressure points. I felt really relaxed during and after the therapy. Thanks Diana for a rejuvenating experience. Highly recommend!

The front desk lady this past Friday was extremely rude. additionally that same front desk was there when I was booking this appointment and I clearly ask her to book with Sam and she confirmed it was booked with her but when I arrived it was booked with the lady who was basically digging into your skin with her broken nail who was not Samantha. There are so many locations and so many massage places that beg you with sending you a lot emails to come and book with them. Never booking this Whitby Location again.

My wife was a regular customer and unfortunately she had to cancel the day of, with a few hours of notice because of family reasons. Instead of being understanding and and simply rescheduling the appt, not simply cancelling. They charged by wife $60.

It seems this place doesn't value its regulars and would rather lose a customer. This place is a joke. There are plenty of massage places in the Durham region and we will happily give our business to somebody else.

Day- Dream

I went to the spa for a couples massage and took off my necklace. When I got home I realized I had forgotten it there. I called the spa and asked if anyone else had used the room where I did the couples massage and was told no. I let the lady know I left my chain on the bed. She advised me that she didn't see the chain and that she checked the laundry and no chain. I am so sad because a chain and pendant does not have legs. I don't want to assume it was stolen by a staff but the room was not used after my appointment. I am still hoping my chain will be recovered. Sad and disappointed.. Here is a pic of the necklace below. What made the experience more disheartening is, the manager disregarded the loss of my necklace and never followed up with me. I was not offered any sort of compensation.

I was assaulted, I believe they have a write up & a possible refund coming? I don’t think he was fired, so, I’m not sure if anyone still wants to go

— was offered a complimentary massage for compensation, and was only refunded the 1 massage, not the whole 4 I got in 2 weeks by this particular masseuse.

- I don’t think I should have to pay for any service for the man who assaulted me, and I think he should have been fired.

- I called back to inquire, if I was getting full compensation and to follow up, twice, and no one got back to me,

— they sent me back my 100$, basically for my assault. This place is bullshit.

Don’t get assaulted.

Great experience for it being my first time. I had Aries (hope I spelled her name right) and she was amazing ! She definitely made me leave feeling relaxed and looking forward to another session. Highly recommend her !!!!!!!
