This is one of the best cocktail bars I've been to!! The atmosphere and experience was really unique and unmatched to any other cocktail bars, it's a cross between a cocktail bar and lounge accompanied with great music and amazing food!! The aesthetics are beautiful with a darker setting, great for special occasions and date nights. The food menu is more like Japanese tapas style, great for sharing or for ordering individually. My favorite dishes were the shrimp tempura, the arugula salad and the corn, everything was soooo tasty and flavorful!! They also have a unique and large cocktail menu, the cocktails are more spirit-forward, great for people who like stronger drinks. We went on a Saturday night, gets a little busy but was a fun crowd. We all had so much fun and will definitely be back!! I highly highly recommend this place!!

On Friday night, I went to Kissa for a date, and it turned out to be a surprisingly wonderful experience.

I absolutely loved everything about the place—the inviting atmosphere with great music, stunning mirrors, and a vibrant array of colors throughout the venue. The food was exceptionally delicious; we ordered fish, mushrooms, and delightful little rolls.
The service was top-notch, and the cocktails were incredibly yummy.
I had an amazing date overall and highly recommend Kissa.
Interestingly, it seemed like most people there were on dates too, but it's also a fantastic spot for a girl's night out.

I went to kissa on sept 18 right after they opened. Service is sucks. 2 servers and 1 bartender were talking very loud than us ( customer ). They brought every food that we ordered at once. If you know table is going be full, why don’t you seat us in bigger table when there was only us and only other 2 customers. The server was keep asking us hows the food when she doesn’t care at all. She doesn’t need to ask when she doesn’t care. If she wants, she can just keep talking loud with her coworkers. It was my gfs bday. so I requested to have bday plate and they did nothing. I guess hostess ( brown girl ) didn’t tell anybody when she was just using her phone. Food is okay but extremely small. Kissa is definitely over priced for these customers service. Very disappointed those people are serving Japanese food.

Had my birthday here this past weekend and had the best time. The staff were nothing but spectacular and welcoming the moment I entered. They were so attentive to my group and made sure we were happy.

The music was amazing. If you love old school hip hop and rnb, the main floor is for you. My friends and I were vibing to our favourite jams throughout the night.

Food was so tasty. We got a set group menu as we were a big group and there was plenty of food. My friends loved all the cocktails they ordered. I loved the espresso martini.

Atmosphere is aesthetic and great for pictures. Where it be the washrooms, the upstairs staircase, the main bar, DJ booth, it is a great vibe and very well decorated.

Definitely coming back and would highly recommend.

Nice Girl's Night or even Date Night spot.

If you want to listen to good music from the 80s-2000s while you eat or have some drinks, this is a great listening lounge. The DJ plays vinyl records so you know sound quality is 👌

Dining area is dark, but still illuminated by gorgeous light fixtures. Definitely an aesthetic place.

Food is Japanese-inspired tapas style, so you can order a bunch of dishes to share or just order individually.
My fave dish of the night was definitely the Buta Kushiyaki (Pork Belly), which was tender and full of flavour.

No one I was with is a drinker, but their cocktail selection looks very appealing!
We also didn't check out the club upstairs, but the stairwell looked pretty cool (Tron-like vibes).

Went to the soft launch at KISSA and had a top notch night. The staff were so friendly and attentive and made for great conversations, especially when sat at the bar. Every single dish and drink we sampled blew us away. Would definitely recommend the tartar and the popcorn shrimp and Prince & the revolution + Catch a fire are incredible drinks. The presentation is definitely instaworthy! If you’re lucky enough to get a reservation you’re sure to have the time of your life.

Incredible food, incredible ambiance, incredible service. From the moment we walked in, the inviting ambiance set the tone for a memorable evening.

My partner and I were blown away by the attention to detail by the talented team behind Kissa. Our server was a delight who provided us great recommendations throughout the night. The cocktails are a must-try! Their extensive selection caters to various palates that's playful in the presentation and to the senses. In between sips, we were ogling over the dedicated DJ booth with the impressive record wall. The moody decor combined with the soft lighting created an intimate atmosphere—perfect for a romantic date or fun night out with friends.

Now for the food... My god, I wish I had five stomachs. Every dish we tasted was a creative masterpiece with a true dedication to fresh quality and presentation. The flavours were so balanced yet so unique. Our favourites were definitely the Oyster + Caviar, Mushroom Forest, A5 Katsu Sando, Hand Rolls and Wagyu Tenderloin.

Kissa is a gem in the King West dining scene. The exceptional service, outstanding cuisine, and overall vibes makes it a must for anyone looking for that Toronto experience. We left Kissa with a full stomach and a happy heart. We'll be back again!

the service and atmosphere are extremely top-notched for they have the most accomodating staffs from the reservation until the end of our stay. when it comes to their food, i will highly recommend their oysters with caviar. food prices are reasonable and its of quality. also, i am not a cheese fanatic but their yuzu cheesecake was superb and the cheese on the side was really great. Ohh, what else i can say?! they serve very good cocktails that exceeds my expectations. 💕
