My sister and I were celebrating both my 10k race and her arrival to Canada with having brunch at Ruby Soho Liberty today.
We really enjoyed the time we spent there!
I ordered the Avocado Toast and my sister got the Classic Benny with mimosas.
I liked the onion sprouts on my avocado toast, the mixture was tasting really good! The staff were really friendly and Sara C helped me to fix an issue on my payment which I did it wrong.

Went out with a friend for a quick dinner before going out and I am so happy we found this spot! The staff were so welcoming and friendly. The food was so good! We shared the calamari, the kale dip and nachos. Everything was amazing. I definitely will be back!

This place is so good!!! I came with a friend for between lunch and dinner (2-5) on a wednesday. Happy hour is from 4-6. Wasnt too busy until 4 pm and we sat on the patio. I got the cider on tap($11) and the stock and row cold tea. ($10) Both are delicious!! I also ordered the fish tacos ($18). These are some of the best fish tacos I’ve ever had holy mackerel!! They come with 3, pickled cabbage, a delicious sauce, limes, and your own hot sauce bottle on the side. I would come here just for the fish tacos. But the service was great, the atmosphere is great, and they even had trippy Bob Ross on a couple of the televisions (for those of us who dont watch sports!)

I’ve been to Ruby Soho at Portland and King, and Liberty Soho is a pretty similar vibe and interior that has its own character in the Liberty Village neighbourhood.

The front door was pretty heavy to open and made it feel like the place was actually closed. Thankfully one of the staff saw us trying to get in, and opened the door for us. She admitted herself that the door had this problem - so that might be good to look into.

I had the Wagyu Smash Burger with yam fries. The yam fries is a $3 up charge which wasn’t something that I was informed of - so that’s good to get servers to mention that to guests. Otherwise, it’s a lot of fries and comes with a chipotle aioli which is nice. When I think of smash burgers, I think of a thin patty that gets a lot of burnt/ crispy edges to it as it cooks close to high heat. That wasn’t the case with this.

Overall, it was a decent experience and wouldn’t mind coming back when I’m in the area again.

In the city for the night & this spot was recommended by a friend who used to live close by. Intended on bar hopping but once we were in, we didn’t wanna leave. What a vibe. Everything was 10/10, from the service, food, drinks, & vibes. Owner & staff treated us so lovely, with complimentary drinks & even took care of some of our food just because. A true gem of a place. Thanks Sean!

Ps- note from a true nacho snob, they’re some of the best I’ve ever had🤤

We were bar hopping and stumbled upon this place and it was a great find! The atmosphere was lively, and I noticed it was a popular spot for dates. Our server was friendly and attentive, which added to the experience. The only downside was that the bathroom wasn't clean.

Best pancake and pork belly breakfast sandwich ever! This brunch is a MUST try- us locals love it.
