Happy hour from 11-4pm, $6.00/pint of Everyside beer. $20 you can have either fish and chip or Burger King+ beer. Sounds good. Regular pub food, fish is moist (not dry or overcooked). Good place to have hang around on Friday.

This was nice and close to where I was staying, so decided to give them a try.
Wasn't overly busy, given it was a Monday night. Went with a dram of 12 year old The Glenlivet first.
For my main, I had the Steak and Guinness pie which hit the spot on a winter's night with a couple of Beau's IPAs. The pie was perfect, great flavour and not too salty.
Overall, a great place and I really liked the atmosphere. Plus my server was friendly and super easy going.

Flew into town this afternoon, long journey and our friend told us to go to Saint John's for good vibes.

Rojina accommodated our need for fresh air after a long travel day. Was real nice and welcomed us to Toronto. As a bar manager, she definition should be serving guests.

Thanks for the good times on a gorgeous night.

Stopped in here before going to the Princess of Wales Theater. Found it to be a British atmosphere. Two outside eating areas. The bar inside was beautiful. Absolutely loved the lighting on the bar itself. The hostess was lovely and told us to watch the steps going up to the indoor bar/restaurant area. The bartender was very friendly. We ordered drinks and then ordered a light meal before the Theater. The chicken sliders were excellent. They came with fries and it was just enough to split so as not to eat too heavily before the show. We went to pay the tab and the bartender asked what brought us to Toronto that day. We mentioned the Theater and he took the tab back and said they have a discount for their customers attending the Theater. That was very unexpected. The next time we go to the Princess of Wales Theater we will definitely stop in there for drinks and eats.

Went to Saint John's Tavern in December with a group of four. It was a little slow in there on a Monday night but they had a dj which was cool. The server was friendly and told us about things to do nearby. We ordered the nachos for the table. They were ok, I would recommend ordering the sour cream and quac on the side because they got soggy with the mound of each of those toppings placed on top of the nachos. I tried the oysters which were great. I got the fish and chips for the main. Both the fish and the fries were cooked well and were flavourful. My complaint would be the amount of mushy peas served on the plate, about on spoons worth which was a little chincy.
I would return to Saint John's Tavern.

We loved it here! Love the vibe, the service, and the food/drinks! We came here right after work and even though it was packed, they managed to squeeze us in a table. The server was really helpful and nice. We got the poutine and it was delicious. Aperol Spritz was great too! We sat outside on their patio and it was really cute. Would definitely come back.
