The staff are very polite and professional. They have been nothing but supportive and willing to help if needed.
It is a great space with different rooms, a gymnasium and even a library.

Beautiful facility, excellent programs. Though I would like to see the rules enforced more as there are unsupervised kids often screaming through the halls, parents nowhere to be found ( not in the building at all). This sometimes disturbs others who have programs going on in the building .

Great place. Severely underutilized.

Millions of tax dollars spent in that area for people who, for the most part, are on assistance in municipal paid and subsidized housing.
The staff are always helpful and friendly.
There are many activities, library, beautiful gymnasium, and rooms for meetings/activities.
My daughter has been taking Irish dance lessons so we are there weekly.
So sad that it is so under utilized.

This is one of the best community centres I’ve been to! With free/low cost programs for people of all ages, great staff, and a wonderful facility, everyone can enjoy their time at Rideau Heights! They have really great movie nights that are fun for the whole family on Sundays 🙂

Beautiful building very bright with lots of windows. Library has a fairly good selection but can get almost anything you'd like to borrow. Staff are friendly and there is quite a few different programs for children and seniors including some that are free.

This is exactly what the north end needs.
My daughter and I thought about where we could go to shoot some hoops now that it's winter. She suggested RMC gym where she sneaks in regularly, but I'm not gonna try to sneak into anywhere, lol. Then she mentioned the community center in the Heights.
Wow. This place is amazing. There were other kids here just doing what kids should do. And the whole place is clean, modern and well staffed.
Walking around after shooting hoops I saw there's a movie nigh(free popcorn!), free karate classes, after school programs of all types, a modern kitchen that looks to be set up for teaching as well as feeding large groups and so much more.
