On adore poser avec le nom des villes. Et Kingston en fait partie. Super cadre sur la place du centre ville. Photo souvenir faite et on est contents

The "I" was missing. See photo. The tourist center next to it is closed. I guess winter is not their tourist season. There was few pedestrians. Overpriced gift shops having nothing interesting are nearby.

This place is a good stop if you need a washroom break, to stretch your legs, or admire the city for a short period of time. The sign is a good structure for taking photos. It's just missing the "I" which I think is intentional so people can stand in its place. The visitors here were very polite in taking turns with photos, and it's not busy at all when we visited in the early weekend afternoon. There's limited free parking here too.

Kingston sign is among my favourite city signs for tourists. There is a natural spot to stand in place of “I” for the photo-op. There is a railway train in the background that gives shout out to Kingston’s past industrial history.

In the evening time, the sign letters light up along with the heart to the left. The central location by city hall is within walking distance of downtown Kingston as well as the serene waterfront.

It's funny how the letter 'i' is missing on the sign, causing people to instinctively stand up and fill the blank. So the letter sign displays "K NGSTON".
This sign is near the back of city hall. You can easily find this sign when you stroll alongside the lakeshore.
