The Rec Room is a large amusement centre located in the Square One mall.

There are a good variety of activities on premise such as arcade, bowling, archery and ax throwing. The arcade was fun for the family and the ticket reward redemption was satisfying for the kids to get a little prize at the end.

There is a sports bar and concession stand within as well that I didn't try.

Lots of fun games and such. The food service was extremely slow. I will come again for the games but definitely not the food.

Fun Variety, Could Improve Servic:

My experience at The Rec Room in Mississauga was quite enjoyable overall. They offer a fantastic variety of games suitable for all age ranges, from various arcades to VR and augmented reality experiences, along with physical games. The establishment provides ample space to relax with a drink and a bite, and the food selection is decent.However, I must mention that the service could be improved, and there's room for better organization. Despite the vibrant vibe, the place felt a bit chaotic at times. Patrons should be prepared for potential waits, especially on weekends. On the upside, parking is convenient with plenty of spaces both outside and within the mall.In summary, The Rec Room is definitely worth a visit for its diverse entertainment options and lively atmosphere. Just be patient with the service and crowds.

Organized an event here to celebrate a groom before his wedding day. Overall, satisfying customer service and food menu. The arcade portion is fun as one could anticipate. On weekends it will be more crowded than weekdays/nights but that is to be excepted. Great place for a date night and average prize selection at the end of it all.

What this place needs to work on is their coat check services. There are times where there would be no staff by the coat check area, having customers wait for a who knows how long until they bring someone over. It’s common sense to always have at least 1 staff there.

I had to ask another staff who’s handling the front lobby area to assist in the matter.

I am giving this 3 stars instead of 5 because I think they fall short in terms of cleanliness. We came here on a Saturday and I noticed that the games especially the virtual shooting game was not being sanitized. It’s nasty that people put the piece on their faces and the equipment is not wiped after each use or at least have sanitizing wipes available for customers to wipe the games themselves. Even the handle bars on the motorcycle race games or the steering wheels were dirty and sticky.

On a positive note, the food, drinks and selection of games here are great.
