Nuttea offers a truly unique and refreshing experience for plant-based and bubble tea lovers. I tried the Biscoff Nut Mylk Tea with tapioca pearls and a layer of simple nut cream—it was creamy, subtly sweet, and incredibly satisfying. I even took a moment to taste the cream on its own with a spoon before mixing it in, which added a fun and delicious twist to the experience.

The staff were very friendly and made the visit feel special. I appreciated the cozy, well-decorated interior, and to my surprise, there was even a piano, which a fellow customer played while I read my book—an unexpectedly lovely moment that added to the ambiance.

The only downside is that the café is located in a basement space, so you miss out on the sunlight and street-level views of Whyte Avenue. That said, if you’re ordering to-go, this place is a full 5 stars—the drink quality and presentation are top-notch.

Whether you’re vegan, lactose-sensitive, or just curious, Nuttea is worth a visit! Be sure to notify the staff of any nut allergies, stay and have a Mylky day!

I’ll always try to support vegan businesses as much in this city. First time trying Nuttea and I’m a fan! This location is very cute, has seating area and very chic design choices.

Lots of good options for teas which taste amazing. Hoping I can try them all!

A great experience at Nuttea. Creative beverages and enjoyed the nut cream over coffee (Bischoff Coffee) and they do have tea, and/or mlyk options. More like a desert drink. It is quite the process in making the beverages. Hence the reason why so delicious. With lactose intolerance this was a treat! If you like whipping cream this is a very nice nutty flavour substitute. Appreciated being welcomed by owner and tentative to tell me about the beverages. Friendly and great service. A quaint hideaway with seating downstairs below the previous Strathcona Hotel. I will go back for sure!

The best real fruit tea I’ve ever had! Made with fresh ingredients and absolutely delicious. The café has a cozy and inviting atmosphere—perfect for a refreshing stop before heading back to Calgary. Looking forward to seeing one open there! Supporting local Edmonton businesses!

So so wonderful!!! The staff here are so nice, very informative, you can tell they really put their heart and soul into their product and service. Always clean and cool. Awesome to have around, since vegan treats like this are hard to come by. This is dessert in a cup and I've never had anything like it! Love coming here and will be back many more times 😀

Tried Nuttea for the first time, and it was such a treat! We had the mocha and the mango milkshake, both topped with their signature nut cream, and wow — they absolutely nailed it. The mocha had this rich, smooth coffee flavor that paired perfectly with the creamy nut topping, while the mango milkshake was tropical and refreshing with just the right hint of sweetness. We also loved that they let us customize the sweetness levels and ice quantity, so each drink was just how we liked it.
The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming — they asked if it was our first time, guided us through the menu, shared helpful info, and answered all our questions, which we totally appreciated.
The nut cream added a velvety, indulgent layer that made each drink feel extra special. Make sure you add some to your drink next time 🙂
