This was our first time eating here and we’re already planning a return visit. We live out of town and we were looking to try a new place somewhere and the wonderful reviews here were the main reason we picked Orestes.

From the time we arrived to our departure after eating, our experience here was superb. We were greeted by friendly hardworking staff and before we knew it we were devouring our freshly prepared delicious meals. The service was outstanding, our two meals were outstanding, and the atmosphere here was equally outstanding. This is a fabulous place for authentic Greek food. We will definitely come back. Thank you to everyone who ensured our dinner out was so enjoyable.

First time experiencing Orestes Kouzina and wow.. I can't say enough

Probably one of the best meals I've ever had at a Port Alberni restaurant. The spanakopita I had was mouthwatering, and perfectly flaky. That Greek salad? I have no words, and idk how the veggies were prepares, but DAMN I've never craved another helping of just veggies as bad as I did when my plate was empty.. even the coffee is worthy of a mention. I drank like 6 cups in the time we were there.. it's that fkn good, that says a LOT because it's restaurant coffee, and most of that is garbage.. this was NOT garbage. It was a delicious roast.

10/10 will definitely go back.

I visited this place after reading some great reviews—and they were absolutely right! We loved the warm and inviting atmosphere, but what stood out the most was how kind and welcoming the owner and their family were to us and our children. It’s a wonderful spot to enjoy a meal in Port Alberni and a lovely way to support a local family-run business. Highly recommended!

Excellent in every way. With a drive through burger costing just shy of $40 these days, this is the deal of the century. Being a single meal in the day establishment, I reserved a table but I didn't need to. An unsung local treasure right on the main drag.

The owner served us and was so personable! He told us some of the history of the restaurant and was very gracious with the elderly folks at our table. Huge portions!!

Okay wow. The other reviewers didn’t lie when they said the owner treats you like family. We had a long conversation about the town and life! The food was very very good with big portions. The restaurant is very decorated with spacious seating.

The food is amazing and staff is wonderful! They offered to open early to host a function for 25 people and everything was fantastic! Lots of our of town guests and everyone said they would go back. Definitely worth it😊

Our chicken souvlaki and moussaka were absolutely delicious! Portions are huge.
Food at other tables smelled amazing as well.
