I went here with my family and we had three children ages 8, 10, and 12. It was more challenging for my 8 year old, however we did our best to involve him or to get him to help us out with finding clues or unlocking locks. Our host was Arwen and she was very sweet and professional. We did the Mr. Moody's Ghost escape room and it was challenging in a good way and lots of fun. We highly recommend Captive Kids to everyone, and even families with children.

This place is a total rip off and over priced. Had my daughters birthday party here this past Saturday, the escape room was fun, however I had 2 kids cancel the day of and I still had to pay 100 for those 2 kids who DIDN'T SHOW up. The host and the lady at the front desk told me I had to pay it but I would definitely get a refund for the 2 kids. I was told today that I would not be getting a refund so not only did I have to pay them 50 to "clean up" when there was really nothing to clean. They get an extra 100 for nothing! I definitely won't be returning after being ripped off. Oh BTW the high price paid only included escape room and party room, nearly 50 dollars per child. Horrible customer service! Wouldn't recommend having a birthday party here!

My granddaughter had her birthday party there on Saturday August 17/24. Two children did not show up because they were sick. My daughter paid for everything (including a clean up fee $50) which is ridiculous considering my daughter and I cleaned up the garbage and tables, just left the table cloths. Since two children got sick and were not able to attend, Captive Kids refused to refund my daughter $100 for the two kids. One girl told her she would get a refund and now the story has changed. She paid a lot of money for this special occasion, and to charge a clean up fee on top of the cost to have the party, is RIDICULOUS! Why tell my daughter she will get a refund, and than refuse to give it to her?!?!?!? The cost of living is expensive and she can't afford to lose $100!!! We will never come back there again, and we will not recommend this place to anyone!! My daughter even gave the hostest a $10 tip!!!

We did all the rooms here over the past few years. Was a great time for the kids. Not too intense or elaborate but again it's designed for kids. Just challenging enough for kids. Definitely worth a try if you have kids.

We booked for my child's 13th birthday. Service was excellent feom start to finish. Room was perfect. Kids loved trying the escape room. They had everything needed (fridge, microwave, plates, cutlery, etc) to support the party and when we forgot some serving bowls and a knife they found those too for us! Thank you for making the birthday party special.

We did Mr. Moody's room with a 6 and 8 year old. The kids were able to get most of the clues with some help. We had an absolute blast! Completed the room in 34 min.

Kids had a great time! Second time going because the kids wanted to go again. Rooms were challenging but not discouraging and the staff Rosalie and Jessica were so friendly and helped when hints were needed. Definitely recommend.

Booked the Ghost room for 11 yr old bday. They had a great time. We needed a few clues but were on the right track anyways. We escaped!
