I really didn’t want to leave a negative review but I have no choice. Angelo is very nice person but I didn’t like the service/product. I got single process colour end of August and didn’t last me even 3 weeks or 3 washes! I spoke to Angelo sent him these pictures but he says it’s my hair that has grown out but NO no one’s hair grow that fast in 3 weeks and the front part still has colour on it. This isn’t my first time getting hair colour but this is the first fastest fade of any colour on my hair.
Sorry Angelo but the product you probably used wasn’t good enough I don’t know.

I booked a gel nails manicure and regular pedicure here in advance. The day before my appointment they called to tell me there was an error and the gel nails I booked were not $30 like I booked for online, but $80. The $30 one was their only hand gel nail option when I booked. I stated it’s false advertising to have a cheaper price online than what they want to charge. I asked them to honour the original price or cancel my appointment. The lady on the phone was not apologetic and in the end I canceled my appointment.

I have been a client at Angelo‘s salon for nearly 5 years now. Maria has been my stylist since the beginning and I can honestly say that she has given me some of the best and long-lasting cuts I have ever had for my long wavy hair. I would highly recommend her!
The staff at the salon are always warm and welcoming. It is the perfect spot for a efficient and high-quality hair services in Port Moody.

I originally rated Angelo's five stars, but after being overcharged and the way the situation was handled, I've had to lower my rating.

After reviewing my invoice it looked like the salon overcharged me for my service, and when I emailed to inquire they admitted that they did. They then tried to tell me that they don't do refunds and would give me a credit for my overpayment, which I said was not acceptable. I wasn't asking for a refund for a service I was dissatisfied with--the SALON made a mistake and they were trying to keep the money they mistakenly took from me. After some back and forth, they agreed to make an exception and give me a refund.

After returning to the salon and receiving my refund, I was directed to a sign on the counter that specifically mentions their policy in relation to being overcharged (TLDR; they won't refund you if they overcharge you). Apparently they overcharge clients often enough that they need to have a policy about it. I really worry about how many people they've overcharged that haven't noticed.

I stand by my original review saying that Sachin is an incredible stylist and I highly recommend him to anyone. The staff were all pleasant and friendly throughout all of my interactions. However, the policies and the way the salon is run don't sit right with me. I've cancelled my appointment and will continue to look elsewhere for a new stylist.

Maria is a master stylist!! Very professional and honestly different from many other stylists out there. I did my highlights, root touch-ups, hair tone and haircut at a very reasonable price. I keep getting compliments for my hair and I love it!! Thank you so much Maria 🥰

They were quick to take my very last minute booking over the phone for a simple haircut and blow out for my very long, very thick hair. I live nearby and it was a convenient location for me. My stylist Maria was very friendly and warm towards me. My haircuts are usually pretty basic. I'm not very picky and let the stylist pretty much do whatever they want as long as its around shoulder length with layers. I was happy with the results and she seemed to do the job more quickly than other places, which was a bonus for me as I hate sitting at salons for hours. The price was around average for what I've paid at other places around the Lower Mainland in the past, so no surprises there. I also appreciated the fact that they didn't pressure me to purchase their salon products. I'll keep going back because she did a good job and it's super close to where I live.
