I had an incredible experience at After Seven in Toronto! This hidden speakeasy is the perfect spot for a unique and unforgettable night out. The atmosphere is intimate, stylish, and full of character. The cocktails are expertly crafted, and you can tell the bartenders know their craft inside and out. Each drink is a masterpiece!

A special shout-out to Amy for making our night even more special. She was attentive, friendly, and gave excellent recommendations that really elevated the whole experience. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for top notch drinks and service. Can’t wait to return!

Exceptional cocktails! Really interesting combinations, well balanced and tasty. Small menu of snacks if you want a bite, we really liked the miso cheese!

The service is wonderful here, and really made our night. If you go a little early it's not too busy - we were able to walk in on a Friday around 6:45, otherwise make a reservation!

I tried this bar for the first time last Saturday and every drink was so delicious! The service was exquisite and I love how they had so many cocktails with tea infused in it. If you're looking for a Japanese-inspired bar, this is the place you need to absolutely try!

Our server and whichever mysterious bartender made our drinks are people who know things. They know good things. And they know how to treat people well. I mentioned that I'm not a fan of alcohol and asked for a mocktail recommendation from the menu. Surprisingly, I was told I could get a concoction made for me based on my preferences of tea and flavours. Fruity, sweeter than not, and black tea I believe were what I'd asked for.

I, and my friends who tried it, were blown out of the water by the incredible mocktail that was set before me. It was beautiful and so delicious that I ordered another one. It didn't taste like juice, wasn't too sweet, wasn't too bitter — everything was balanced and flavourful.

Ya girl doesn't go to bars ever. Nothing tastes good. Or at least nothing did until the unknown bartender made me this awesome Earl grey lemony something. If a drink at a bar costs as much as a meal, why not go to a restaurant instead? Well, the team at After 7 showed me why not.

I wish I remembered our server's name. He was very kind. Tall fellow. A true gentleman. Bespectacled.

I do believe my friends liked their Ghibli and strawberry drinks. It was also well-decorated in this smart lil cozy spot!

Odin is an absolute master at his craft - I look forward to my trips to Toronto knowing I will have the best cocktail experience probably anywhere in Canada. Sitting at the bar with him is a fully immersing experience into the world of mixology. His professionalism while maintaining and building rapport is a talent that I've yet to come by in any establishment.

Ingredients are complex, every movement is intentional.

This Japanese speakeasy has absolutely everything going for it. Ambience, creativity, service, quality of food and drinks. Prices are more than fair, but in saying that...don't go with a budget. You will want to, and likely will, try everything on the menu. If you're really lucky, Odin will make something for you on the fly.

I used to frequent Bar Chef during my trips to TO, but I honestly wouldn't be bothered to go back.

This was such a unique experience. Starting from how you enter into the cocktail bar to their offerings, it’s really cool.

Their entire menu is out of the box. I loved their cocktails that had sesame and coconut milk.

Will definitely visit again if I’m in the city.

We waited at the concealed door before stepping into a dimly lit, moody space with a sleek ambiance. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, but the overall atmosphere felt somewhat restrictive.

While the menu offered a wide selection, we opted for a custom cocktail tailored to our preferences—something fruity with a bold alcoholic presence. This spot seems best suited for those who have a clear understanding of their flavor preferences, as the experience is highly personalized.

To fully immerse in the setting, a livelier atmosphere with more engaging music would enhance the overall vibe.
