We had an awesome experience at Moosehorn Lodge. Our guide, Greg, was both professional and caring for each of us in a party of four. He put us on great Walleye, Lake Trout, Pike and Small Mouth Bass fishing during our 3 fishing days. He provided all the fishing gear, bait, boat, shore lunch ( which was delicious), baited our hooks, removed the fish, took great care of us.
The lodge provided a made to order breakfast and amazing dinner. Our cabin, #4, was a perfect size for two couples (2 bedrooms with twin beds). We did not cook in the kitchen, since the lodge cooked for us. Cabin and bathroom was cleaned everyday, by a wonderful housekeeping crew. The cabin had a nice size deep freezer to put the fish.
This was an amazing experience, thank you all for such a wonderful time.

I HIGHLY recommend Moosehorn Lodge for fishing charters. We contacted Colin Gosse to see if he had any *very* last-minute availability, and although he didn’t, he put me in touch with the folks at Moosehorn to see if they were able to make it work. And they did!! Linda was so helpful and booked us a charter a few days later with Jordan as our guide. It was AMAZING.

Jordan was such a positive and helpful presence and he knew exactly what he was doing - we caught tons of walleye, enough for shore lunch (which Jordan made and was spectacular) plus several family dinners at home! I was with my father and my 14 year old daughter, who was on her first fishing charter ever, and she went from not even wanting to look at the fish in the morning to happily offering to help Jordan clean and fillet our catch at the end of the day. I couldn’t believe it!

If you’re looking for a fishing charter in Sioux Lookout, seriously, you can’t go wrong with Moosehorn. We’ll be back!

What a great fishing lodge! We just finished up a fishing trip, and we were very pleased with Moosehorn. We’ll be booking again. The owner Linda was so nice and accommodating; same for their manager Nicole. All the staff were super friendly around the entire place. Great people which make the experience that much better.

Fishing was also quite good; which was the reason we came here. We got a few master angler awards and caught some big fish. Experienced guides here for sure. I also love their boats compared to the places we’ve stayed before. Larger outboard motors and big casting deck on their fishing boats.

The cabins were fine, clean, and had everything we needed. The food they prepared for our package was very good (breakfast & lunch)!! Kudos to the chef. All in all, I really don’t have anything but positive feedback, and we will certainly try to come again. Thank you Moosehorn! Eh.

Nice facilities, helpful staff, fair pricing.
Our guide Tony put us on the muskies on 2 different lakes, stayed out late to show us extra spots, had our fish cleaned and always had a good story. Endless lakes and boundless opportunities in sioux look out, we will return and I will ask for Tony to show me around another lake. Thank you Moosehorn

What a wonderful resort. The staff was super and the cabins were great. We had Nate as a guide and he definitely got us on top of the fish. It was non stop action in the boat. We were even able to find some artifacts on the beaches.
