Maison magnifique chargée d'histoire. Petit déjeuner varié et copieux, produits frais et locaux. Très belle chambre, lit confortable. L’accueil de Joyce et Roger est attentif et chaleureux. Si vous passez dans la région, à réserver absolument!

Beautiful home and property as well as the location was great. The Southroom was perfect and beautifully decorated, along with a gorgeous modern ensuite.
Roger and Joyce were amazing hosts and not to mention that the breakfast selection and flavours was fantastic! Next time we decide to head to Port Dover we will be definitely staying here. Highly recommend to everyone!

We stayed 2 nights at this beautiful historic property and fully recommend it. Our hosts Roger and Joyce were fantastic in every way. They have a lovely living room for guest use, and immediately adjacent, the dining table where they serve us breakfast is also available for our use. This came in very handy for takeout during these COVID times! There is also a minifridge in the hallway for guest use, which to us was very handy to chill water thermoses pre-hikes. The whole place is spotlessly clean, lovingly decorated, and so comfortable, set a little bit back from the road amid the trees - one of which is more than 200 years old! Even the grounds are interesting. 🙂

Joyce and Roger were wonderful hosts. We booked the room due to a family funeral. We were able to book their community space for a small informal family gathering--and they were very accommodating. The North room, where we stayed, is spacious and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom, although down the hall, is easily accessible, and also very spacious. Good shower! The breakfast was so yummy. Especially loved the fruit salad, and highly recommend the quiche. Great coffee. We would stay there again in a heart beat!

I am not quite sure where to begin but I will start at the beginning. Roger and Joyce were very gracious hosts!! From when I booked the room directly with Roger to our check in and check out everything was top notch. The South Room that my husband and I stayed in was incredible. Everything you need to make your stay so pleasurable. The bed was a double bed in this room but oh so comfy. Every morning we were greeted by either Roger or Joyce and breakfasts were the highlight of our stay. So so scrumptious. They both made us feel so welcome and I would not hesitate to recommend this B and B for anyone wanting to tour around in the Norfolk area. Thank you so much for making our son's wedding weekend even more amazing for staying with you!!! We will be back!!!!!!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Joyce and Roger were great hosts . The food was very good and the selection offered was quite compatible with our diets and I’m sure with most. The south room where we slept had a comfortable full bed with a well appointed ensuite. We also had access to a large common room , piano included.||We enjoyed some music and some getting acquainted time with our hosts.|| The house is a little secluded , and maybe hard to find as it is set back from the road but makes for a quiet private retreat.|| Overall we found our accommodations very comfortable, clean and quite enjoyable.||We would definitely recommend and return to this lovely B&B. Spent a lovely Friday night at this historic house in early August. Stayed in the South Room (the larger of the two I believe?), which featured a double bed, sitting area and a huge, en suite full-featured bathroom. The trim, plentiful antiques and overall vibe remind you of the house's roots, which was built back in the 1840s and has since been designated as a historical property. Joyce and Roger were extraordinarily generous and knowledgeable hosts, and offered many great suggestions on how to best fill our single day in the area. The property is gorgeous, surrounded by a plethora of mature trees and well set back from the road. Breakfast the next morning was fresh and tasy, with a selection of bacon, eggs, toast and fresh fruit. All in all, a wonderful, relaxing experience!
