Update sad to say they have closed for walk in service and only do events stuff now so sad I miss the food !
Minus 2 stars till you open back up !

WOW what a amazing food experience ?.
The food was so good I had to order more, service was awesome my waitress was so nice.

I found my new home away from home thank you Front Porch and Staff for a killer food experience.
Also the prices are great ?

Been back had an amazing lunch today and a wicked watermelon ? mojuto ?

In again today for the best dam smash burger ? ever !!! Randy Bo Bandy would be proud ?

Hands down the best Southern food I have had north of the border! Sadly they are not open as a restaurant any more but instead specialize in special events and catering. We did a lunch for 19 people and Connie was wonderful to work with! The location is so fun and the food was well worth the drive (we live about and hour and half away!) We had fried chicken, chicken fried steak, pulled pork, biscuits, coleslaw and mac and cheese. For dessert there was pean pie and mississipi mud cake. Everything was scratch made and done very well. I highly recommend!

Awesome brunch and musical guests. Connie's cooking is supberb. Super authentic Southern cooking as NOLA native. We keep coming back! Well worth the drive to Langton.

This place is well worth the drive! We went here for a private event and I was intoxicated by the charm! You could spend hours walking around admiring all of the vintage decorations. Connie was also a fabulous host. Her expertise is evidenced loud and clear by her service and the quality of food she produces. Miss Connie cooked and served our entire group, herself. We would have thought there was full staff in there by how well things were prepared and served. Everything was fast, fresh and absolutely delicious

Absolutely love everything about Front Porch Southern Kitchen and Blues Joint from the hospitality, decor and food.

I'm not an expert but they serve delicious southern food especially their BBQ is so flavourful and moist. They have something for everyone.

The hostess is so cheery and friendly and really fits the theme of the restaurant she is a true Mississippi Queen.

It's a bit remote but definitley worth a visit to try.

Enjoyed the blackened catfish with grits, coleslaw and baked beans, added a corn bread muffin. Sipped on a Sazerac and enjoyed the lemon ice box pie for dessert.

Everything was perfect. The food melted in my mouth and was seasoned perfectly. The customer service was outstanding and the atmosphere of the restaurant is fun, quirky and definitely southern.

I absolutely loved it and will return.

The food and service is amazing for such a different place to be found in Ontario. Reminds me of the food in the south of the USA. The brisket and ribs were smoked to perfection pared with the best tasting southern sides. The Mac and cheese was spicy and cheesy, hush puppies like nothing I’ve tasted before, even the simple cucumbers with dill and apple cider vinegar were so delicious. Then the dessert can’t even go explain how delicious and serviced warm. All waitresses were exceptional. Highly recommend!

We stopped at the Front Porch Southern Kitchen restaurant for dinner on our way back from Long Point park. We got a table on the terrace as the weather was still pretty mild (watch for bugs!). The menu was interesting with southern US dishes. My girlfriend had a Grapefruit Paloma Tequila (on picture) which she really enjoyed and I got the Black Coal Stout which I equally liked. We got the "catfish nuggets" as an appetizer, which was a very good serving of tasty breaded deep-fried fish. Super tasty! We then had the Shrimp and Grits (Excellent!! A specialty of this place) and I got the Pork Pulled Shoulder. My girlfriend had a large number of shrimps (I believe she counted 17 of them!) and I got a LOT of pork... Portions were "US Sized" (meaning very large) and while having a very good appetite, I couldn't finish my pork. Note that I got the "Meat and 3", which is a meat main dish with 3 sides. For sides, I got the beans, the mac n; cheese and hush puppies. Everything we had that night was just excellent and tasty. Total was about $110 for both of us which is really not bad considering the amount and more importantly the quality of food you are getting. Definitely recommended, despite being quite far from our place, we might just go there again for to taste other dishes!
