Although we only came today for an afternoon beer, to sit outside in the back was a treat.
We found the service to be fast and friendly, they had a good beer selection, and their cocktails, wine, and non-alcoholic drink selection was also good.
Although we did not order any food I did look at the menu, and it looked tasty! And other people around us were eating and it smelled incredible, (in particular what smelled like egg rolls). I would return here. Although sitting outside season is rapidly drawing to a close, indoors looked really nice as well.

We had a celebration combination birthdays and wedding anniversary lunch for 18 people in the side room. It was a wonderful lunch in a beautiful venue. Everyone loved the old home atmosphere, gathering in the roomy side room, fall table decor, delicious food and superb service. Whatever we requested from Heather when planning the event she always said no problem. Kayla was a terrific server, efficient and friendly. There was no extra cost for the room nor the number of people, only the cost of the food and drinks which was very reasonable. Highly recommended if you need a venue for a special occasion.

Really enjoyed the Maple Nut Salad! With a side of Salmon it was absolutely delicious. I can't wait to come back when I visit Simcoe again!

After a day of exploring Norfolk county, we popped into the Blue Elephant for dinner.

We've been here before, but admittedly, it's been a long while.

It was nice to see it was just as we remembered (in all the right ways). The restaurant brewpub is very cozy & relaxed. The atmosphere is very chill and not loud like sportsbars.

We ordered the steak fajitas, the maple walnut encrusted chicken, and the mac & cheese burger.

The fajitas were sizzling, with ample steak/peppers/ onions, as well as plentiful toppings.

They were very tasty and filling....a doggie box was required.

The maple walnut chicken was delicious. It has a thick & delicious crust ( the best part).

Served with mashed potatoes and veggies.

The mac & cheese burger was tasty. It is exactly what you'd expect.

Overall the food was very good.

The service was great. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly.

The beer on tap is their own, and always a great selection on draught.

Prices were very reasonable.

This is a great spot for a pint or a full meal

It's a lovely spot to experience when you are in Simcoe.

Great atmosphere! Cozy little place. Service was excellent!! We had a party of 20. They accommodated us very well 🙂 (We made a reservation, visit from out of town). I found it a little pricey. Although portions were good sizes and food tasted delicious. For a once in a while visit, I definitely recommend ?

A group of us went for lunch here, one day. That could be why the service was a little sluggish. My usual go to is fish and chips, but I found that the portion was rather small and was lacking in a lot of flavor!

Stopped by for a light dinner and were seated on the patio out back. Great atmosphere back there especially at night.
Ordered a couple of salads. They have a half or full option and the half is huge and was more than enough to fill me up. Salads are loaded with nuts, the veggies are fresh and the dressing comes on the side so you can add as much as you want.
Our waitress was very friendly.
Would come back to try other items on the menu.

An excellent restaurant we really enjoyed sitting out on their small but lovely patio. The beers were good with a choice of 9 different draft craft ales to choose from.

The food was good too. We had the bangers and mash and the baked Brie. Both were very good.
