I've been coming here for a year now to have a quick shower no more then 5 or 7 minutes everyone has been great except this one employee not sure of her name however she wears glasses says she's been there for 18 years well she is rude and judgmental she has no personality and made me feel like common scum. Iam a working woman who happens to live by limited means. I have paid 5 dollars every time but twice with this lady she was agian demanding and extremely rude and charged me 10 dollars to have a quick shower well no one was there. This has also happened to a friend of mine she also was treated very badly like we were street people. And was charged 10 dollars. Just this one lady and she is not very good with people and she's been there 18 years how can someone like that so rude and demeaning to the customers still be working in such a public place. I am 3 for 2 with this woman and I don't want to come back because of her. I'm on disability and I work so I think I should be treated with respect. Thank you a 52 year old previous customer who is sad I won't be back.

I love the rock wall, and the rope swing into the pool. The pool and hot tub are smaller than some, but the changerooms are always clean, and the staff is always so friendly, and attentive.

I was there for kids swimming meet. It’s small swimming pool with 4lanes only. But nice and clean

This pool is awesome! Seems to never be too busy, very clean and the kids have a blast! You can rent rooms/ the gym/the pool for birthdays. Affordable and awesome!

if it's so great why is the Nanaimo pool full of Ladysmith families?

Great gym, great pool, terrible hours and management.
The gym and pool are constantly closed without warning or scheduling.
Staff closes the facility early based on “when they feel like it,” without reason or announcements.
Web hours never reflect the actual hours of operation, and more often than not part or all of the place is closed for maintenance.

I find it frustrating that tax dollars fund these lazy operations, a private facility would long be bankrupt if making the same choices.

All and all works out to an expensive pass you can rarely…

I say pass and find another option.
