I just had a the most fabulous facial delivered by Nadine at Damara Day Spa, Ocean Pointe Resort in Victoria BC. Nadine was very kind and professional. The facial was 90 minutes and included back, foot, and hand massages. I also purchased the scalp massage(an extra 10 minutes) and it was worth every penny. Thank you Nadine for a wonderful experience.

I just had the most fantastic massage therapist EVER, and everyone at the spa is so fabulous! I seriously had the best time (of course getting a massage is always fantastic!) and can't speak highly enough of everyone who I encountered. I highly recommend Natalie Pimm as a therapist, she is so awesome! I have never had a better massage therapist, and she went to the best massage school in the world, so she's got fantastic training. Even the receptionist was so thoughtful and said she wished she had a sweater to just give me because it was a bit chilly. What a fantastic place, I am definitely going back! Oh - and make sure you check out the pool, hot tub, and sauna before going in for your treatment, it makes it that much more enjoyable 🙂

My family were already hotel guests so the convenience of a spa treatment at the facility seemed like a great idea to indulge in for my birthday. As anyone booking a spa appointment, relaxation and rejuvenation is top priority. The greeting, check in, paperwork and wait time went well. My therapist was friendly and the treatment room was comfortable. I wished my massage experience could've been better thought. It was difficult to unwind and melt away with the rumble of conversation and laughter in the room next door. It sounded like a break room or meeting room. The noise overpowered the music and cannot remember if any played. This went on for 45 mins and ceased when I turned over. I mentioned it to my therapist and she was not empathetic and went about her work.

My last treatment was a facial which was nice with premium Eminence products. My facialist was nice but didn't give me a chance to relax as she talked too much. I barely responded to give her a hint that I was seeking relaxation, however, she failed to clue in. I also felt a little pressured to purchase the recommended products at the end but politely declined and mentioned that it was less expensive in the States.

Overall, it would've been a wonderful experience despite the noise disturbance and conversation of the service providers at a minimum, but this wasn't the case. Beware of treatment room #1, which is where you may experience noise disturbance.

Unfortunately, the staff failed to ask how my experience was upon checkout. I should've spoken up but was ready to leave at that point.

Facial was amazing!! Massage was medium, $78 pedicure started chipping the next day...
Felt very rushed through my three services, no time between to relax. For almost $400 I don't feel I got my money's worth.

Getting a massage at the Ocean Pointe Resort was amazing. The staff was super friendly and I loved how at the beginning the masseuse, Tawnee asked if there were any body parts that were uncomfortable (ex. Feet). Tawnee checked on me throughout the massage to see if the pressure was right which led to great communication as I'm typically a shy person. Will definitely be back!

I recently went here for a bachelorette party. They were very welcoming and accommodating. I had to organize the event for more than 10 girls, and they accepted my changes leading up right to the event.

I received a body buff and the whole experience was relaxing, and I left with smooth, aroma-smelling skin! I felt like a pampered princess.

Bonus: They have Free Parking - just ask for it as you are leaving!

Had a massage with Taylor. The experience was great, she knew so much of how to help deal with the pain in my shoulder; she even went out of her way to give me stretches to take home. Massage was relaxing, and not expensive either.

This is not a spa where you can relax, enjoy the day and your treatments. You are escorted downstairs through the gym to a change room that is equipped for the gym, not a spa. Lockers are very small, there are no amenities to use, curling irons or anything to use after your spa treatment, so you get to leave looking like hell.
Pedicures are a weird setup, if you have short legs your feet won’t even make it into the water bowl.

You can go to the pool and hot tub, but once again you have to go through the gym, and then there is a glass window where you get to watch people exercising on the threadmills.

I do not recommend this spa to anyone expecting a relaxing day where you can lounge and relax. The estetician that completed my facial was amazing though. But I left here absolutely stressed and disappointed especially for the cost.
