Kaitlyn nailed it for customer service. Very attentive,warm and fun. My Beef Dip was just not my fave,overly oily bread and the beef seemed too soft and almost a "pressed" texture. I wonder, r they adding soy sauce to their beef broth to stretch it cos it tasted distinctly like soy sauce and way too salty. Chicken Parmesan was overcooked and brown. The burger was satisfying,ample and fresh.
Fries could've been hotter, but were crispy and tasty, not at all oily.
De-caff was decent.
Did I mention how gr8 the service was cos it was, it was so nice to be looked after so well for a large table. Rare these days for sure but refreshing and appreciated. Ty Kaitlyn and crew!

Came in for a late lunch on a Thursday and we were greeted and seated right away. Our server took our order and our food arrived very quickly. We were in and out within 30 minutes!

Our sandwiches were incredible. We both had the beef dip with mayo instead of horseradish aioli. Crispy sourdough, tender beef, excellent aujus.
He got the poutine and said it was very well done and my yam fries came with garlic aioli - I wish more places did this.

My husband and I were given a gift card. Sammy J's is a little out of the way for where we live but worth the commute. The host was personable, asking for our seating preference, the waitress was attentive for food, drinks and dessert.. (I recommend the New York Cheesecake) The environment was clean, with sports playing in the background as entertainment, not at all intrusive to our conversation. Overall a great experience and plan on returning with friends.

Took my wife and son to Sammy J for the first time. The experience was less than desirable. Lady was nice when ordering or drinks. Took over 20 minutes to get our drinks. Ordered the chicken strips for my son and steak frites for me and my wife. Waited another 30 minutes for our food, which is normal with the restaurant pretty busy. Drinks were empty and had to wait another 20 minutes to her news drinks. The chicken strips were so dry and burnt. The veggies coming with it were dry and old. The steaks were over cooked, dry and full of nerves. It was like eating a leather belt. Fries were good. But it's an expensive meal when an establishment don't care what's coming out of their kitchen. Had to go somewhere else to get food for our son and his food was un eatable.
First time and last time I go there.

Went there tonight for a dinner and must say it was a great experience. Plenty of space to sit, tidy, prompt and very friendly service.

Nice tasting cocktails and great tasting Gluten- free food, I could even try their Poutine as it was delicious and Gluten- free. They have a decent Gluten- free/ and Vegetarian Menu there too.
Prices are good and quality matches the price.

Quiet and cozy, lots of window seating, has heated closed in deck seating, clean establishment, food is hot and delicious, plenty on the plate. Burgers plates are around $18, Breakfast $17, Chicken plates $21. Employees are young but attentive. Has a separate large bar area with seating. Handicap bathroom toilet seat dangerously loose and needs to be tightened. Large bathroom 9/10 for cleanliness. I do recommend this location. 5 Stars

Food was great but service was even better. Teagan’s recommendation’s were top notch (try the Ron Burgundy if you haven’t already)! Such a funny, charismatic, hardworking girl, she made our night!!!

We loved coming to Sammy J's for their food and comfortable seating. The service is ok but the servers on Feb 7th would do well to work on their authenticity and attentiveness.

I'd give it a better rating if service improved, and hostess wasn't spilling out of her top. We unfortunately avoid coming here more often for these reasons. It's awkward when young women are almost exposing their upper half entirely. Definitely makes one question the training that misses the part on how to come off professionally, or at least respectively.
Perhaps you can hop on the trend of the other restaurants, and create a more professional / family friendly environment. I'm shocked the manager allows such attire. This isn't "Hooters" afterall.
