Lakeside Roadhouse - Omemee, Ontario

We stopped in at the roadhouse while we were on a houseboating adventure.

The staff are accommodating and quite friendly. We had a beautiful view of the lake, and had the option of sitting on the patio. We thought it was pretty cool that you could drive your boat up to the dock for dinner.

This is definitely not a wheelchair accessible restaurant. The bathrooms are downstairs, and there are stairs to get into the restaurant and out to the patio.

The patio looked so pretty lit up with tiny white lights and facing out towards the lake. The ambience made for a great date night.

Our food came out piping hot and in a timely manner. The cook even sent out a couple of sample wings for me to try, on the house. I ordered the chicken fingers (3 fingers) with fries and my husband had the "hungry man wings" (about 10 wings). You won't leave hungry, the amount of fries they give you is plentiful!

This is a kid friendly place, high chairs are available.

Great food & service. We had jalapeño poppers and chilly fries for appetizers and fish and chips for main course. Loved it all

This was our second visit. We first went exactly 1 week after they had opened, and we sat on the patio. We had a great meal that day. Today we sat inside and the seats were comfortable and a nice friendly atmosphere.
The food came out pretty quickly, and was nice and hot.
I had the hugest piece of fish! It was very good with crispy batter. You can tell the fish was fresh.
My wife and daughter had burgers and they both really enjoyed them. And my son had chicken nuggets, and he downed them. The sides of fries, onion rings, sweet potato fries and the garlic parmesan fries were all great.

We for sure will be dining there often as it's nice and close to us. It's great to have a quality restaurant of this kind in the area. Hopefully they'll be around for a long time.

Excellent view of the lake, had fish n chips, chilli fries n Mike's hard lemonade, all in all a good place to rest after sightseeing all day.

Stopped by Lakeside for a meal and a drink for the first time today. Music was incredible, the view from within on a cold evening was beautiful and the pub-style food was awesome! Jenn, our server was intuitive, incredibly kind and treated every guest at the establishment with so much respect. At one point, the line cook was out and even said hello. Can’t wait to come back and visit all the way from Nova Scotia! Thank you Lakeside staff!

Beautiful view. Food and staff were terrific. We ate on the deck, which was lovely. I recommend trying the butterchicken wrap. Only issue was the stairs to get to the basement bathroom. For anyone with some mobility issues the stairs are steep.

Hey Lakeside Roadhouse … not too happy with your quality OR customer service tonight! Just ordered a Hawaiian Pizza for takeout… picked it up and when we got home, the crust was burnt black, and it was loaded with onions, which I can’t eat!!
Last time I checked, Hawaiian pizza does not contain onions!
When we called to discuss this with you, we were told… too bad, so sad! That’s your tough luck!

Wife and i don't go out much, but we decided to try this new place out. We live a few blocks away, Staff were very polite, food was Delicious, bartender was very nice also. I just thought it was to food only formal. It seem such a waist to have built every thing into a five star restaurant and bar, but did not have a bar like feeling, no music, no karaoke or live entertainment. even a juke box would be nice. I will be watching and hoping for live entertainment or juke box or karaoke.
