I recently visited Klar So for my first Vichy Shower treatment with Laurie. The staff was very friendly and welcoming when I arrived, providing me with everything I needed and guiding me to the beautiful waiting area and to the exquisitely maintained change room.

Laurie was an absolute delight during my treatment. She was professional, knowledgeable, accommodating and very friendly, making certain I was comfortable at all times. From the water temperature being at the appropriate level for me, to ensuring I was in a relaxed position (she offered me an extra pillow when she noted I was lying a bit awkwardly – which I was), I always felt comfortable with Laurie and she made me feel like I was in good hands throughout the entire treatment.

I would absolutely love to return to Klar So for another Vichy treatment with Laurie in the future. It was a great experience all around. Thanks to Laurie and to all the staff for making my visit a memorable one.

I had the most relaxing and serene experience at the klar so Nordic spa. It was my first time at a Nordic spa and klar so also. It was so modern, yet cozy and comfortable. Clean and very well taken care of. The pool options, as well as sauna options, relaxation rooms and outdoor seating areas were wonderful to choose from and enjoy. The robes were so comfortable and had a large range of sizes to fit all. I will certainly be back !

I recently visited Klar So Nordic Spa and had a mixed experience. The pools were definitely the highlight—clean, well-maintained, and a great place to relax. I also really enjoyed the food; despite the limited menu, everything we tried was delicious, and their tea selection was impressive.

That said, there were a few things that took away from the overall experience. There was loud construction going on nearby, which made it hard to fully unwind. The wet sauna had a musty smell that was a bit off-putting, and I found a clump of hair in one of the showers—not exactly what you want to see at a spa.

Overall, it has potential, but a few improvements in cleanliness and ambiance would go a long way.

KLAR SO NORDIC SPA, the facial, massage was lovely
If you go to the spa do not stay at ELK HORN LODGE ($350 per night, no channels just a DVD player, no microwave and we were warned not to light a fire in our fireplace because the lodge has nearly burned down a few times). Front desk very unhelpful and could not explain extra charges.

Had a fabulous day here with the girls. We arrived around 11am, had lunch there and then finished the day around 5pm. The pools, relaxation room and saunas are wonderful. This is a gem for our area!

The food was wonderful- but space is limited to eat, so either go right at 12pm when they open, or be prepared to wait an hour to be seated, and then set aside another hour/hour and a half to eat your meal. Food was fabulous though!

Would recommend for a day event.

Pretty good. Similar design to Thermea if you’re familiar with Manitoba’s other Nordic spa. Thermea has a bigger footprint and is perhaps more developed, but Klar So has all the mains - hot pool, warm pool, and cold plunge, fire pits, teas, dry/wet sauna, and a quiet relax/nap zone. It also has the benefit of being adjacent to hiking, wilderness, and the lake town of Wasagaming. Other reviewers are correct, a lot of people brought their phones into the spa area itself and took selfies and group photos. I’m not sure I was much better but I only used my phone while on the Spa restaurant patio, or at night 5 mins before closing when we were the last ones there. Restaurant food was good. Nachos were near burnt and nothing special so I would not recommend that. But the burger was good and side salad actually very good! Servers were also very social and attentive / friendly.

Beautiful Nordic Spa. Staff were helpful and friendly and always seen cleaning areas.

So peaceful! (cell phones and loud chatter was a concern after reading some reviews but they informed everyone and enforced)

Best part was the fluffy robes and free hot tea flavours!

Would like to be able to leave and come back but I understand that it isn’t how it works which makes sense.

Highly recommend! A wonderful experience!

This new spa is good, not great. We did not see one staff member in the spa area the entire 6 hours that we were there, so there was puddles of water everywhere that should be mopped up but wasn't. The wet spa was out of order so that was disappointing since there's not much else there to use. The food and service at the restaurant was good, not great as well. Overall a good experience but doesn't compare to Thermea.
