Our team stayed here for our baseball provincials. The hotel is unique and unexpected. It’s not fancy and rooms are dated (but very clean and comfortable). What separates this hotel from anywhere we have stayed for any sports travel in the past is the activities here! The pool tables, lake for fishing and swimming, nature outside, fire pit, hot tub and just the sheer size of the building gave the boys so much to do. It was a paradise for kids 11-12 years old. But I’m sure it would be amazing for any age. Bbqs are available and there is a grocery store next door.
We had so much fun. The kids loved it. Any time we would be back in the area I would book this place as my first choice.

The staff was fabulous and so accommodating. They do a great job. You won’t regret your stay.

I was here for a ladies retreat and it was wonderful! The room was very clean. The facility itself is not new, but it serves it's purpose well and it was comfortable enough. I can see it being really great for families as well with the room layouts and bed options.

I really loved all the natural light in the main areas. So many big windows and lots of comfortable places to just sit and read or visit.

The food was incredible! So nice to not think about food for a weekend. There were so much variety at each meal and the servers were friendly.

Resort great for our family reunion! 60 people!Great things to do onsite and near the hotel. Old fashioned rooms! Personnel were friendly ! Food well!?! Breakfast was the same for three days! Deserts were your typical Costco/ M & M meat shops style! Now for the unfortunate food news! Early morning Golfers were told there would be muffins, coffee and toast before they left that didn’t happen. No jam for breakfast our first two days; they ran out of breakfast food one morning; don’t have kitchen on site! Running out of late night snack of subway style cookies, chips and fruit! Lunch and supper consist with of re used goulash, too nice to call this slop! Gross gross stuff, more in garbage than in stomachs! Restaurant/ food trucks closed by 6 so we had to drive to next town for supper! They did make an effort to substitute desserts with a pkg. brownie for people with allergies!

We checked in after 5P.M., there was no one at the desk. We had to phone a number that was left at the front desk, and Kevin came to check us in. Kevin was very friendly and helpful, helping us unload our luggage from the car.|The room doesn't have microwaves or coffee percs, but you can get coffee at the restaurant. There are barbecues outside.|The air conditioner is covered by the curtains so once the curtains are drawn yo don't get much cool air in the room.|The room was very clean, but dated. This facility is good for groups, as it has a pool table, ping pong, volleyball nets outside and a hot tub. We are just used to having a front clerk checking us in on arrival.

The staff who was serving and assisting us on our food was awesome. His super friendly, and there's always a smile on his face whenever he serves us our food. I like the dishes and the place was really peaceful. It is truly a wonderful place for a retreat!🥰 I was fascinated with the reindeers...

Staff was very accomodating and facilities were welcoming and well kept. Would highly recommend this place if you have church youth groups/group settings that are needing a weekend together to bond and recollect! Would absolutely book with them again in the future. The place was perfect for what we were looking for.

Loved it! We stayed with our family of 7, for 3 nights and 4 days. The staff were incredibly relaxed and accommodating, it felt like we were staying with family. Kevin is a really nice guy. The raft ride on the river was a bit to long, we had some head on wind, but the scenery was beautiful.

The facility was clean and neat. The staff was incredibly friendly and the food was delicious. There are great walking/cross country skiing/hiking trails close by and I love that the deer are so close and around! A great experience.
