Your response completely avoids the actual issue. The problem is not just a feeling that people are being overcharged, it is a measurable discrepancy. Your pumps consistently register more fuel dispensed than what a vehicle’s tank or a jerry can can physically hold. Multiple people have tested this at different stations under the same conditions and only yours shows this level of inconsistency.

If you truly stand by your claim of compliance, here are a few simple steps to resolve this.
1. Have your pumps independently tested by Measurement Canada or another third-party inspector, not someone you hire. Publish the results.
2. Allow a public verification test by filling a calibrated jerry can at your station and comparing it against what the pump claims.
3. Explain why your station is the only one in the area with this issue despite similar conditions elsewhere.

On top of that, this place has completely fallen apart under Shah’s ownership. The back of house is a disaster which is obvious just by looking through the drink doors. The station used to offer sandwiches, salads, pizza, and popcorn. You used to have your gas pumped for you and could pay right from your car. Now none of that exists. The place is never open when the sign says it should be. The quality of goods has dropped if there is even anything available. The store only gets cleaned when a new hire comes in and even basic things like coffee are almost never stocked.

To make matters worse, staff are not even trained to properly count Canadian currency. If you are running a business that handles cash daily, your employees should at least be able to distinguish between different coins. This level of mismanagement combined with the fuel pump discrepancies makes it clear that this is not just an oversight, it is a pattern of neglect.

If you are unwilling to address any of these issues then your claims of compliance mean nothing. Multiple people have confirmed the same problems. So what is your real explanation?

The reason, why this gas station owner is able to hand out some pretty good rebates is quite simple:
Even if you get the 10ct/liter rebate, you end up paying more here than at any other gas station around.

The pumps at this gas station are not calibrated properly!

It's interesting, that fueling up at this place gives you the ability to put in at least 10% more fuel in your tank than what the max capacity of it is...
Or, if you drive the same amount of kilometers weekly (example: from home to work and back) and you fuel up at the other Co-op gas station in morden, or here, your car just magically used up quite a bit more fuel...

I suggest everyone who wants to fuel up here to get a jerry can and fill it to whatever the legal limit at the can is (20/25 liters etc.) and compare it to the number at the pump. You'll be surprised by how far they are off...

(yes, the Jerry can is not the best tool to do a proper volume estimation, but it should be very close to what the actual volume should be...)

Reply to the owner:
Nice try to explain it, but it makes no sense at all! Read the review properly and see for yourself why...

The same Jerry cans and vehicle have been filled up at a couple different gas stations at the same outdoor temperatures with very much the same results, except at your place where it is always 10+% more... I am not the only one who has the same experience. There are more people that I personally know that did the same tests and had the same outcome.
How do you explain that?!

BTW; we know how your certification works and what a little "extra pay" can do to boost your profit...

I'm from Edmonton and come into town on occasion for business. I got hooked on their chicken salad sandwiches made in-store on my first trip last summer. So because of those yummy sandwiches, I now also stop there for fuel and other necessities. I take turns coming into town with another technician, and she too loves the place and of course those chicken salad sandwiches. The staff are friendly and upbeat and sure deserve a pat on the back. Keep up the good work, and please keep those sandwiches on the list of hot-sellers! Cheers.
