Doesn't look like much on the outside but they know what they are doing inside. Very calming when you go inside and I haven't been so relaxed for a long time. I had a Swedish massage and the Urban facial and there are no words to describe how amazing it was. I had Nick for my massage and my facial from Sarah. They were professional but personable as well as fun to chat with. They made you feel comfortable and relaxed in the capable hands. Sarah described each process of the facial so you knew what to expect. For someone who has never had a facial before I really enjoyed it and would recommend for some who is just starting out. And Nick's magic hands loosened all the tight spots. Thanks again and I definitely recommend this place and look forward to coming here again soon.

Fantastic. Ive gotten many massages due to the physical demand of my job. I will be returning. Nick did a great job, i felt like a marshmellow afterward. He made sure to focus on spots that needed it most, and provided some great information about how the muscles work. I highly recommend. I sadly forgot to ask for my technicians name that did my pedicure but she was also fantastic. Great work, couldnt be happier. I have already booked my next visit, and am so happy ive found my new go to place for treating myself !

Not bad but not anything great.
Went for the classic customized facial. It says it includes a skin consult at the start and then the facial is custom to your needs. I was expecting some information about my skin and what they noticed, but she didn’t tell me anything. So I’m not sure what was custom about the facial and I didn’t leave with any new useful knowledge. I did mention there were some blackheads that could use extraction but she said they only do that on people with bad acne..
The facial itself was about half skincare and half neck/chest/arm massage which I wasn’t expecting but it was alright. I’ve had facials at different spas before and usually I leave really excited about how plump, healthy and moisturized my skin looks with less visible pores/blackheads. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case with the facial. I just feel like I got my face washed, and my skin looked the same.
It wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t great, and not worth the $130 price in my opinion.

I've been going to the Urban Spa for years! The staff are amazing. Sad that the RMT I used to go to is no longer there, seems currently they only have maybe 1 or 2 RMTs so it's impossible to get in - and the main one as of right now is male which I won't go to (personal preference). I'm sure this will change with time.

Renné is my favorite! She did all my sugaring, such a lovely lady! I've used Jen as well for pedicure and she's amazing too!

Very lovely atmosphere whether you're getting nails done/massage/hair removal. Very relaxing! Nice music, lots of lovely scents for aroma therapy.

Cons:
-you do have to go up a lot of stairs for mani/pedi/hair removal - which was a struggle while pregnant.
- speaking of the stairs, this would not be an accessible place by any means.
-Very limited parking
-booking is usually 2 weeks out, which doesn't work for my schedule with a baby anymore
-Manicures are only for your own nails. They don't do acrylic or gel.
- On the pricey side.

Overall would and do recommend.
The online booking is a great feature too, I love that!

I have had services in the past that were enjoyable. The last time I was at this business, I was with my teenage daughter to get her hair done. I wanted to share that the hairstylist did an amazing job and my daughter was very comfortable with them. So much so that I was able to run a quick errand while they chatted during the colouring session. My daughter looked and felt so beautiful after this appointment which can be a transformational moment for any teenager. Thank you!

I went to the Urban Spa for my bachelorette party and it was so much fun! They were so accommodating and professional! I had a group of over 10 ladies and we all got mani pedi’s done! Everyone loved their services! Each person got a little charcuterie plate with fruit, cheese, and meat! We also all got a complimentary drink! At the end of the session the staff gave me a beautiful bouquet!! Truly a personalized and special experience! 10/10 experience! Definitely my favourite spa ?. Would absolutely recommend for brides!!

First visit... Won't be my last! Amazing massage by Cole and pedicure by Lynecho. An afternoon spa treat for myself while on my staycation! A hidden gem in East City, almost right in my own backyard . So glad I gave this great place a try. I will be back. Thank you for the wonderful afternoon and service.
