Don and Jackie were awesome hosts! Food was delicious with large portions. Accommodations were clean. Gas was (i think) cheaper there than in town which is crazy! They work hard to provide an awesome place to get away. Right off the sled/wheeler trail. We were a group of 4 guys travelling on wheelers that left Miramichi area and spent the night at the Auberge! Thanks guys for the great stay! Hope to be back sometime.

great place, great food, great hospitality. Stayed here during our ATV run. owners were very friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back again. Nice to have a place in a middle of nowhere that has food and beer!

A bit of a preamble... ||I was traveling with my Mother, Grandmother & 2 dogs from Toronto to Caraquet New Brunswick in Sept 2009. We took a wrong turn after St. Quentin & instead of going north & then along the coast line, we ended up on Highway 180. Hwy 180 is in the middle of the forest. No street lights, no lane dividers, just one lane going each way up & down, through the middle of a HUGE pine forest full of Moose! Having taken this wrong & unexpected turn through the middle of nowhere, with no cell phone service or GPS service, we were lost. It was slow going because we didn't know the roads & we came upon not 1, not 2 but 3 Moose in the middle of the road. I was driving, it was 2am & I was terrified! ||||Now, onto the hotel service. ||||Through the dark we came upon what we thought to be a home. It was a God send to us. i took a chance of knocking on their door & to ask if we could use their phone & sleep in our van in their driveway that night. ||||Yvette opened the door & after I explained our situation she said that yes, this was their home, but it was also a hotel & we could have a room for the night. Though it really didn't matter how much it cost at this point, she said not to worry, we would deal with it in the morning. That if we didn't have enough money not to worry about it we could stay anyway. ||||She ushered us in, helped us with our bags, got us towels & helped to settle us. Dog & all!! She said that there would be breakfast in the morning at 9am. ||||The next morning we were so tired after our stressful night that we decided to forgo breakfast in favour of some extra sleep & time to pack & get ready to hit the road again. However, once we were ready to leave & started taking our bags out to the van, she insisted that we come & eat. She had kept the kitchen open just for us & she made special breakfast just for the three of us & offered the dogs some bacon too!!||||Yvette & Michael, helped us with directions & where we had gone wrong & guided us to our next destination. They told us all about the area & their place. They were so kind to us, especially considering that we woke them & possibly their guests up at 2am!! If it wasn't for them I don't know what we would have done. ||||We have never forgotten their kindness.
