I came here for the first time on a Saturday afternoon as I was passing through Cobourg.

I was so excited to find out Kawartha Dairy had their own stand alone store, and with a drive thru.

I really liked that they had a display of merch that was Kawartha dairy branded and also had a lot of Canadian products as well.

they also have a refrigerator and freezer section of Kawartha lakes creams, milks, and ice cream flavours.

The staff were so kind and friendly, they were happy to offer me samples of a few flavors before I decided.

The portion sizes are very generous here. I decided to go with the baby scoop and it was so large that I could hardly finish it. so the value for money is also really great here.

Got the campfire s’mores ice cream in a cone and it was really good! Their portions are VERY generous and even a small can feed 2 people easily.

Relatively new store it seems with less than 50 reviews to date. The store is fairly large and there's ample parking.

Huge (3 scoop in a cup) $7.29

Some Unique flavors.
Pricing great. Great portions.
No issues with staff. Though they only had one working cash making for a terrible line up. Garbage can was full and no one would clean up. Lots of staff that day too. Most were teenagers.

Would still recommend given the price and portions.
Milk, cheese, eggs, creme, coffee and other items also sold here.

L I am super disappointed with the icecream cake. For the price of the cake; you’d think there would be some sort of cookie crumble layer, or fudge or something.

Nope. The cake, is literally just ice cream.
I could have saved myself $30 and just scoped ice cream from the 1L ice cream containers.

I will be sticking with Dairy Queen cakes from here on out. And will be sure to tell my family/ friends NOT to waste their money on Kawartha Dairy Ice cream cakes.

I had the most amazing experience today! I came in for a scoop of ice cream, and the person helping me was so sweet. When I asked about gluten free flavours, she directed me to the allergen menu. She washed her hands before scooping from a fresh tub of ice cream to prevent any cross contact. I was so impressed and pleased. The interior was clean and inviting with so many tasty flavours. I will definitely be coming back, thank you! I got cherry bordeaux flavour, and my scoop was the smallest size, after eating halfway.
