I don’t like leaving negative reviews but sometimes a dose of honesty is the best way to support a business. I will start by noting the service was incredibly friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is pretty cute with country music and retro touches. The food goes downhill- margarita was extremely sweet, the fries had nice seasoning but were still raw and tiny portion, the pizza was dry and lacking in flavour and overall for the price you pay (which is high) the quantity is a bit small. Pool table at the back is also impossible to play at because of the size of the room. I would love to keep supporting a new business in town but definitely hoping it was just a bad day.

This place has so much potential.
Fun decorating, country music.
The food was good. Service was polite but not friendly. If you don't want to be there, don't be.

This place is a total gem. Great music and fantastic affordable food. Like, really great food that is considered and put together with care but for a price that also thoughtful and reasonable for regular people. Check out their shows. Their food specials. And their slushy cocktails which are fun and hit on that highbrow lowbrow thing you can’t quite put your finger on. Slushy margs for the absolute win along with rum and coke slush. Just get yourself in here for a lovely time.

Hank’s is a natural extension of its sister restaurant, Darlings; the offering, from vibe to food, is as focused and considered. Hank’s does what other joints often fail to do: offer a cool place to sit and have a beer with simple food without pretension. It just is what it is and that’s more than enough.

Have gotten takeout a few times now it’s been home run after home run. Food is hot, quick to come out, seasoned well, and generous in portion size. Value for money is on the money. Go sit at Hank’s and take a load off.

Overall, I really enjoyed this place. Love the decor and vibe and the food was a step-up from your usual pub fare. The Philly Cheesesteak was actually downright delicious. The service, however, was very slow despite it not being busy. Our first order of food and drink went in pretty quick but then we basically never saw the server again. We were there for almost two hours and had empty drinks for at least 1.5 hour of that time. We were kind of tucked against the wall and probably easily to forget but the place isn't very big so no excuse really. We live nearby so we'll definitely be back and hopefully we can bump this review up to 5 stars with better service.

Was here for dinner with some friends and the food was great. Their chopped salad was FANTASTIC and big enough to share for the table of 5 adults. Drinks were fine, nothing special. My only complaint here is the service. The server was in no way friendly and looked annoyed to be there.

I love the idea of this place, the decor and the look are on point. The food was really good, the beer was really good. The music left a little to be desired, I love country music but when I was there it was all new top 40 country, which personally isn't for me and didn't seem to fit the aesthetic. But maybe that's just my personal preference. I will certainly be back when I'm back through town again and would highly recommend this place.

Very disappointing experience.
We were a big group with kids, and despite the restaurant being nearly empty with plenty of available seats, the staff refused to accommodate us. There was no explanation—just a flat-out refusal.One of the female staff members looked visibly unhappy to serve us, which made us feel unwelcome right from the start. It almost felt like having children with us was an inconvenience to them.We ordered pizza, which came out burnt, and the rest of the food was bland and lacking flavor. To make things worse, they didn’t provide cutlery—even after our food was served. We had to flag someone down just to get basic utensils.Overall, the experience was frustrating and uncomfortable. Definitely not family-friendly, and we won’t be coming back. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
