Lors de notre séjour de plage à sandbanks nous avons réservé au Queen's inn et avons beaucoup aimé. Petit Hôtel de construction récente aménagé avec style. La chambre était grande (tjrs pratique pour enfant en extra avec matelas de sol) et propreté impeccable. Parfait pour une voyageuse autonome comme moi, on prend possession de nos clés dans un coffret de sécurite à l'extérieur, on laisse notre signature sur un formulaire dans la chambre pour le check out mais au besoin la proprio est disponible par téléphone et très sympathique et aidante lors de la réservation. Seul bémol le bruit du traffic sur la main street si votre chambre donne vers la rue, mais facile de compenser les minutes de sommeil perdues par un petit dodo à la plage 🙂

Chambre 3, 2 lits simples, très propre, bien équipée, stationnement, machine à glace très appréciée à l'étage, hôtel très bien situé, près de tout, ce qui nous a permis de découvrir les restos/cafés du coin. Nos coups de coeur: Bean Counter, le Vic Café et le Portobello, merci!||Petite suggestion: modifier la pancarte Check-in at Renovators pour "Check-in at Port Picton Homes", car on a cherché longtemps les rénovateurs! Du même coup, rendre plus visible la minuscule affiche dans la porte du PPHomes... nous étions 2 groupes qui cherchions le check-in...🙄

Si vous voulez ne pas payer trop cher et avoir une tres belle chambre, choisissez le Queen s inn! Cet hotel est tout neuf, tres propre et situee en plein coeur de Picton sur la rue principale... Les enfants n

For some reason, our usual hotel in Picton was fully booked so we decoded to give The Queen's Inn a try. Were we surprised at how nice and cozy it was! The room was tastefully decorated with antique furniture, including a sleigh bed, a huge armoire and lots of pretty pictures on the wall. The TV was conveniently hidden behind cabinet doors. Upon opening the doors, taped to the inside was a listing of channels - how nice not to have to cruise every channel!.Water bottles and coffee were provided free of charge. We opted not to have the housekeeping package at $15/day. There were tons of clean towels and God knows, we don't change our sheets daily. Also provided were interesting local magazines and recommended nearby restaurants for breakfast. Our new "place to stay" when visiting Picton!

We stayed here during the Labour Day long weekend and had a great time. It was easy to "check in" and out, the room was clean and in good shape and despite facing the street, not noisy. Only complaint is that when you turn the bathroom light on, it spills into the main room as there isn't a door separating the sink area (there is from toilet and bath). But you can't beat the location! Right on cute main street of Picton, it was a great base to explore the County.

We stayed at the Queens Inn just one night on our recent visit to PEC. Everything was great. Very clean and comfortable accommodation. Walking distance to everything in downtown Picton. We met the friendly cleaning staff in the morning very good job by them. It may seem expensive to some but it was very good value for August in the county. Will definitely be back. Do try to arrive before 4:30 to avoid the lock box key retrieval. The office is in the building behind the Inn rooms are above the dollar store. Stop and say hi to Bonnie in the dollar store she helped us immensely.

The Queen's Inn is well located in the region, it offers good size rooms that were clean and comfortable. There is no overnight staff or breakfast so not a place to look for package deals. We found it suited us fine as we didn't require any assistance and were ok with finding a coffee and a scone for breakfast elsewhere.||||The street noise could be an issue for lighter sleepers but did not bother us.

Loud. The inn abuts a small apartment. The dwellers there like loud music. As there is no staff in the inn, there is no one to complain to or intervene. You pick up your keys at a nearby renovation company. ||No night table on one side. Smallish room. No refrigerator. Nothing special. Although its a very good location, it is way too expensive ($200+) a night for what it is. (And $200 does not include any service, so hope you like making your own bed for that price.)||Oh yeah, did I mention its loud? Next door neighbours just put on yet more loud music.
