On commence par une bière brune locale très bonne.
Deux plats commandés :
Truite bien cuite, bon assainissement.
Accompagnement riz et légumes.
Boeuf et salade.

Fantastic. We'll be back ASAP. The beef here is incredible. One of the best burgers I've ever had. Staff were lovely. Just a great place.

One of my favourite places downtown for many reasons. I have many memories of hanging out here with friends when I was in college or enjoying a celebration. I have hosted my birthday here, I have enjoyed dates, hanging out with friends and ladies nights. I also love the back patio area. What a cute little oasis with a mix of brick walls, black furniture, trees and vines, seating arrangements and wildlife! I just love the vibe here whether it’s the moody lighting, the decorations, the wooden features or the floor to ceiling windows - the atmosphere is amazing. There is a bar, some booth seating or high top tables. The food is amazingly delicious from the appetizers to the dessert and the service is incredible. Thank you!

One of the best fried chicken sandwiches I had in PTBO! Note it isn’t spicy (we got Nashville) but really enjoyable. Will be definitely reordering this again but only after I try out their fettuccine! The spinach dip was also good and love that the pita comes in 2 (or even 3?) options! Enjoyed this with their Innis & Gun Mango IPA and Creemore. They have 2 patios - we chose for the one in the back which has a lovely mural of a city at night.

edit: aug 9, 2024 - front patio is also really nice as well! Their special was the mango fried chicken sandwich but it wasn’t as good as the Nashville but it was spicier. Bruschetta was really good! Will come back again 🙂

I have been to Gerti's a number of times over the years. I have always had a good time. It is a very popular restaurant and people are always saying great things about it and recommending it.

The food is really good and the service has been spot on every time. Very nice staff. The overall vibe is good. Clients seem to be enjoying themselves there.

I do think the restaurant needs a bit of a slight refresh. I know pubs generally have or want that old style antiquated/tired look, but a few small decor/furniture changes could really add some energy to pub's atmosphere.

I would also recommend menus you can wipe down for sanitary purposes.

I would definitely recommend Gerti's and go back there!!

The Best Seafood Dish I've Ever Had in My Life.

The Lemon Dill Trout is so AMAZING. First of all the trout tastes just like salmon. There's no difference to me. The Capers which is the Brown Dots on the Fish is so PERFECT. It gives a saltiness to the taste of the Lemon Cream. The Lemon Cream is a sauce instead of the citrusy lemon taste which is so PERFECT. Rice was perfect. Vegetables were Perfect. Patio is fun. Great service as well. I LOVE Gerti's.

The service was fantastic and we were given ice cold water and menus as we were seated.

We started with the coconut shrimp appetizer which was delicious.

My partner got Fish Tacos with sweet potato fries. She thought they were delicious and the pineapple toppings were a great added touch.

I decided to go with the deep fried chicken club which turned out to be extremely disappointing. My first two bites were just chunks of batter. Which at this point I decided to just peel off the batter which was half of the sandwich. I was left with just a plain chicken breast on a bun. For the price I expected something way different, especially when Popeyes makes one 10x more appetizing.

The atmosphere was way to loud which I know is very hard to control in a pub, but the loudness from some people made it hard to even think.

I paid 100$ for the two meals and tip, which Overall left a sour experience in my mouth, I for one won't be returning anytime soon.

Had a beautiful dinner date with my beautiful woman, couldn't have asked for a more wonderful evening. Food was fantastic, atmosphere was amazing and the staff and owner were absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend
