Yogacara is one of the coolest studios I have been to. I went everyday of my vacation at Whistler and the practice set the tone for a fantastic time. I was looking out the window in a pose and two hummingbirds were dancing in the tree branches. The teachers were all wonderful. The sequencing was innovative and hypnotic (not sleepy though ;). As for pricing, my group and others went every day so the week class pass is really a great value. Thank-you to Yogacara!!!

I love Yogacara. I've been going to the studio for the past six months and can't say enough good things about my experience. It's a great size, the space is open and light and mats and props are provided for you. The teachers are absolutely wonderful. I regularly attend Janet's Vinyasa class and feel very connected to her style of teaching. As soon as I arrive at Yogacara I immediately feel at ease. I can see my practice growing and know it's because of the supportive community Yogacara has created.

My bachelorette party was up in Whistler and one of the activities we did was a yoga class here and it was AMAZING. It was extremely relaxing, the right amount of challenging, and the instructor was very engaging. Our group was running late because of the crazy parking situation and our instructor was so kind and made sure that we were fully present. One of the best yoga classes I’ve taken for sure 🙂

Yogacara is one of the best yoga studios I've ever been to and after traveling the world, that says a lot! I've been to 10+ classes and every teacher has been kind, caring, and very knowledgeable. Some of my favourite teachers include Emily, Heidi, and Maeve.

I appreciate the assistance during class, especially the adjustments, and the overall atmosphere of the studio. Don't miss out on the chance to practice in this beautiful space.

Just a warning: Over new years I was sick and called the phone number that was on google to cancel my class, it went to voicemail so I left a message. When I recieved no response during the day, I went in at the start of the evening class to asked what I can do about a credit. The instructor didn't seem to belive me to be sick and asked me to join the class or write to the owner but that I had missed the chance for a refund. Unfortuatnely a couple days later I tested positive for Covid.

I wrote Emily, the business owner, with a screen shot of the google listing. She implied that I was faking it and trying to get out of the class with a loophole and said, "No, we did not get your voicemail and I do not recognize that number. I've been in touch with Google to see what happened. We don't take voicemail at this time." Then she berated me for harassing her employee.

"I've processed a refund to your credit card, upon your demands, in the hopes that you do not return to the studio."

Yoga Cara is a beautiful little studio in the heart of the village. I am so grateful for the community that has risen out of this loving space. I recently did an immersion workshop with Janet Corvino that was so nourishing and inspiring. Janet is such an incredible teacher and has a little playful side that makes everything a little spicier and fun. Thanks Yoga Cara for the incredible community that you have fostered.
