We love the fresh sandwiches at the deli counter and the option to eat in the store. The fresh produce and Canadian and locally sourced products is another reason that keeps us coming back. The sale prices and discounts are competitive with other grocery stores but the freshness here beats most other stores. Using our phone number to be a member and collecting points is an easy way to gain a bonus on occasion. We also appreciated the vigilance of staff when a customer was ordering at the deli counter with their miniature dog in their arms and was asked to produce papers to prove the animal was a service dog. In other stores we have never seen staff address customers who enter with their dog. We know Quality Greens really live up to their name because they are considerate of the cleanliness and quality of their products and store. We often enjoy our shopping at Quality Greens. Thank you for all you do.

There's very little quality in Quality Greens Penticton.
Potatoes are filled with gross dark spots, as are the fresh radishes. The majority of the fruit and vegetables come from the US, with seemingly only the slightest efforts spent on sourcing Canadian grown produce.
Prices are amongst the highest in town but with the smallest selection.
The check-out process lacks structure and can be quite painful.
The only real positive is that I have always found parking without hassle.
Remember, there is a lot riding on the 'Buy Canadian' campaign and it requires the involvement of all Canadians in order to make a difference.

This place has gone down hill BIG TIME. Ever since they expanded/ got new owners or whatever, prices on almost everything have gone up to an unjustifiable height! I used to shop here as it’s close to my house, but now I go out of my way to go to Safeway instead, because the extra 5 minutes, and the extra cost of gas is still worth it to safe the money for simple products. I’ve included some photos as examples of my point.

Cereal: at Safeway $6.99 per box for the sizes below, at Quality Greens they are $9.30 to $11.00. (Up to $4 more expensive!)

That’s just one example, but I am honestly and absolutely astounded by how badly these new owners have taken a perfectly good local store, and turned it into a complete rip-off of a store.

Do not shop here! The produce is over priced, groceries are overpriced, deli is overpriced, dairy is overpriced.

By shopping here you are just wasting your money, and letting a company get away with literal highway robbery, I am very disappointed, and shocked that this place hasn’t gone under yet! But it will!

Thank you for responding to my review regarding the unpleasant customer service experience at your store on June 18. I appreciate you providing me with the contact information for your store Manager, Cindy. I called twice on June 19 and left messages and have not received a call back.
I have been a customer of Quality Greens for over 28 years.
Unfortunately this whole situation from impolite cashier to management’s lack of attention to return my calls has left me reluctant to shop at your store. There are plenty of stores in Penticton where I can get quality produce, better customer service and a more enjoyable shopping experience..
I don’t want to spend anymore of my time on this matter, but perhaps you could convey to your staff the importance of being courteous and helpful. Peter Hopkins

To the Manager of Quality Greens Penticton ; Hi Cynthia, The worst customer service I’ve received from any grocery store . I’ve been shopping at Quality Greens for many years and have never been treated or spoken to so rudely just because I didn’t ask to have my shopping bag packed as soon as I got to checkout with my groceries. I presented a bag prior to when the groceries were going through and the bag was pushed away. I asked if the groceries could be bagged and the response was “you didn’t ask me “ and she proceeded to roll her eyes with attitude as if I was a bother and then told me I had attitude . The previous week I was in and I presented my bag and the young man at checkout thoughtfully packed my bag without me even having to ask me. Maybe Quality Greens but not Quality Service. This happened today June 18 @ 13.29 slip 190862 Till 4 Clerk QG Manager. Please remember who supports you in this community !

I have been a regular customer in Quality green for a year , i like shopping from there though its abit expensive. I appreciated the dedication of the staff members until i came accross one lady today (Apr 12/2025) who told me that she is the supervisor . After i shopped, i asked her a favor to change my $5 dollar cash to $1 coins ,i needed coins she couldn help me. It was totally fine if she told me that they dont have it but She told me that its not allowed . She didn want to help me anyways . I was so disappointed!!!!!
