I didn't find the seperate washing basins as comfortable and didn't soak as long as basins attached to chairs. Plus not as comfortable. Also when it came time to paint my toes I had to sit with my feet up to my chest for the lovely girl to do the work which was uncomfortable for my back. I also like having my feet scrapped with a cuticle cutter and then a scrub pad as it gets more dead skin off. My preference though. The nail art was very dissapointing and a single flower was so tiny and one foot you couldn't tell what it was 🤷‍♀️. I know some people aren't comfortable doing nailart so they should say that instead of practicing on someone and then I have to pay for a very poor design. The girl was awesome with my allergies and products which I will mention to other people to try you out forsure. I may see you again to try another day but I want a 10 out of 10 experience with my pedicures 🙂 The shop ambiance was great and a nice spa set up but not to the point of zoning out and relaxing but I enjoyed talking while there with Kennedy and clients. Saved the day! I can’t say enough for the group at Aura. My wife booked in for my daughter to get her nails done. My daughter didn’t know her boyfriend was proposing the next day. Turns out my wife booked the wrong day and so when my daughter showed up she couldn’t get her nails done.
My daughter left and then I explained the situation to them. They jumped into action and found someone to do her nails the next morning at 8am. They open at 9:30! I mentioned that my daughter might find it suspicious that they had a time at 8am so they even went so far as to change the start time on google just in case my daughter looked (which she did!!).
Nails were perfect and the day was saved. Thank you again Aura crew. You went so far and above what was expected.
Also I had a pedicure. Really relaxing. Always blown away that people will actually touch my feet. Guys, go here and make your feet nice.
P.S. you should change your Saturday hours back on Google.

I’ve had waxing, facials, injectables, and of course my nail fill every three weeks with Jess at Aura! Such a clean and welcoming environment. I’ve never felt uncomfortable and I’ve always had the best services. Carly the owner takes great pride in her business and it shows! The employees are always lovely and the front desk girls are very inviting. 10/10 and will be coming back every time!

I wouldn’t return to this establishment, even if it was free.

The pedicure chairs need to be upgraded for a “beauty lounge” (not a nail salon). They require putting your feet on the pedicurist’s lap, which was not comfortable for me.

The service was very disappointing. Parking was a nightmare. The lotion used made it (more slippery than other places) for me to safely walk 2 blocks to my vehicle in sandals.

Service examples: the pedicurist greeted me with “you have sparkles on your toes. Great.”, instead of “welcome, my name is…”. She never did welcome me or introduce herself, even when I told her I recently moved to MR and this was my first time at Aura. I would have been happy to book & pay for extra time to remove sparkled nail polish, but this was not on their list of extra charges.

I asked for the most opaque shade of white. I was given 3 whites to choose from. When the first layer when on, I nicely told her it wasn’t opaque. She said “I gave you 3 whites to choose from. You chose the milky white”. Client blaming comment. So now I have to go out and buy an opaque white to complete my Canada Day nails.

I recently had the pleasure of getting lip fillers from Nurse Sanj, and I am beyond thrilled with the results! Her technique is absolutely flawless, and the attention to detail she puts into her work is unmatched. Not only is she incredibly skilled, but she’s also the kindest and most personable professional I’ve ever met. Sanj takes the time to truly understand what you want and makes you feel so comfortable throughout the entire process. If you’re considering lip fillers, do yourself a favor and book with her—you won’t regret it! She’s the best of the best!

Jess was unreal. I had a vision for nail art and she made my dream a reality. I wanted Friday the 13th nails from the horror movie and despite Jess not being a horror fan she was up for the challenge. Her art is majorly impressive with the time, attention to detail and the shape of my nails. She worked with the vision I had in mind making changes only with approval and made the nails better than I could have ever imagined. My friends are loving them, my coworkers have complemented them. Jess does fine work. I will be back as a repeat customer. I am very satisfied with the front desk staff and general vibe of the salon. It is very friendly and welcoming.

Extremely disappointed with the quality of the manicure + gel colour I got today. This was my first time at this place and although the place is clean, atmosphere is good, and staff is friendly, it is definitely lacking in quality of the service. It felt like the girl was unsure of what she was doing the whole time, it took 1.5 hrs exactly for this messy job, barely any cuticle work done, surface of the nail was not smooth before applying gel, you can see on the photos that the gel is all bubbling up, and it just looks so bad. She went all around my nails on my skin when applying colour, not even trying to stay within the nail, and then would go around each nail with brush dipped in nail polish remover, this is a weird technique, it would be easier to try and stay within my nail. At reception after my appointment, I asked the girls if this looked like okay quality to them. And one girl said "personally, it looks good to me", which is kind of shocking if this is the standard for this place. I was not comfortable paying for this service, and the staff were understanding and also added a free mani to my file. First 3 photos were taken at the salon right after the appointment while i was waiting at reception, and the last 2 photos are 20 minutes after i got home and washed my hands. 2 nails peeled off right away with no effort, and the rest started lifting withing a few hours. I couldn't take it because they were getting caught on clothes, and pulled them off. All came off easily like stickers in one piece. Not acceptable, considering this place is pricier than most salons.
