It was wonderful having what felt like our own beach house for a night, fully equipped with a hot tub, sauna, and lots of nice touches such as housecoats and chocolates! The view from our large, private patio was beautiful day and night and we took the kayaks out a couple of times for lovely paddles. The friendly hosts provided a delicious breakfast to our room and ensured our comfort throughout. I would definitely recommend for a couple seeking a romantic break away from the day to day!

We stayed at the Beach Retreat for my nieces graduation and it was the perfect spot! Nick was the best host! He was there to greet us, as we arrived, and accommodated our every need. Nick even put out some snacks (peanuts and cherries) for us to enjoy as we arrived. We enjoyed a late night hot tub. The hot tub was clean and very hot, which we loved. We also had a morning sauna, which was a great way to warm up from the rain. The breakfast was beyond what we expected, with sooo many items to choose from and the fridge was stocked with drinks and coffee cream. The bed was very comfy and didn't smell like bleach or perfume laundry soap, which I appreciated. On the way out, Nick even went out of his way to pack us some road snacks, in zip lock bags. Staying here felt like staying with family and we would 100% book again or recommend to anyone visiting the area.

My wife and our border collie stayed for a great 5 night getaway. Location is awesome right on the water. Seals playing in the inlet as you sit in the hot tub. Port Moody inlet centre is a 5 minute drive to get your self fresh seafood and baked goods. Hiking trails 5 minutes In any direction. The breakfast is 5 stars and the hosts are awesome!! Not a chance this would be a bad decision to stay here anytime of the year.

We recently enjoyed a wonderful long weekend at this Bed & Breakfast, and we’re especially grateful for Annette’s warm hospitality! The room was spotlessly clean, the bed and sofa were very comfortable, the fresh orange juice was delicious, and the fireplace was so cozy. The hot tub and sauna were perfect for unwinding, and the peaceful surroundings, along with the thoughtful details in the house, allowed us to escape the pressures of city life and savor a moment of tranquility. We had been trying to book all summer without luck, and finally managed to reserve it at the tail end of autumn. It was truly a beautiful experience!

No need to worry about instructions: when you arrive, you’ll find parking right in front of the boat, next to the house. Once you enter the backyard, the first door you’ll see belongs to the owner, and the B&B entrance is a little further down. The owner will hear you arrive and come over to give a thorough introduction. The place is fully equipped with a microwave, kettle, juicer, coffee machine with coffee, as well as various cups, plates, and cutlery. They even provide high-quality shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel, so there’s no need to bring your own. Everything feels natural and warmly welcoming. Thank you for such a wonderful experience—can’t wait to return!

不用担心没有介绍：到达时停车位就在船的前面、房子旁边。进入后院后看到的第一扇门是房主的，B&B的入口再往下走一点。房主会听到动静过来给你详尽的介绍，里面配有微波炉、烧水壶、榨汁机、咖啡机和咖啡，各种杯子碗碟餐具齐全，洗发水和护发素品质很好，还有优质的沐浴露，完全不用自带。一切都非常自然，充满温暖的欢迎感。非常感谢这次的美好回忆，期待下次再来！

We had a wonderful stay “At the Beach” and would highly recommend. We will be back! The location was easy to find and we were greeted warmly by our hosts. The space is well appointed, relaxing and the view…Wow! We had a beautiful deck to enjoy, the water view and the visiting wildlife were absolutely spectacular and relaxing. Our hosts treated us to fresh picked fruit and provided water floaties and kayaks. The Port Moody vibe was great - grocery, restaurants, food trucks and shopping within 2 to 3 kilometers. Lovely spots to go walking as well. Can’t say enough about how wonderful this vacation home is.

My wife and I stayed here from August 17-21, and it was the best bed and breakfast experience I’ve ever had! Nick and Lise were very gracious hosts, and you feel genuinely welcome from the moment you arrive. The views from the room are amazing and the breakfast service was excellent. It was nice to be able to discuss our daily activity plans with Nick, and get advice on the best times to schedule certain events. The room was very cozy, and the hot tub and sauna was very relaxing. I highly recommend Beach Retreat for anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful, and convenient getaway in the Vancouver BC area. I know my wife and I will certainly return soon. Thank you Nick and Lise!

We loved our stay at At The Beach Retreat. The location was beautiful, and the amenities (kayaks, sauna, hot tub, large deck, etc) made for the perfect combination of relaxing and fun! We were able to take public transit door to door from Vancouver International Airport in an hour. The hosts were so kind and welcoming. We hope to be back soon!
