Yellow Dog has beers that I have tried before, so when I went in, I was interested in trying something new.

There were their core beers, but lots of other kinds on offer. I went with 3 seasonal and 1 core beer in my flight. All of the seasonal beers were fantastic, and along with Chase My Tail Pale Ale (core), I was incredibly satisfied with my choices.

It really helped as well that the bartender was full of knowledge, and that helped my choices. Non alcoholic drinks and wines were on offer too.

For food, I saw they offered tacos, but I wasn't hungry, so I didn't try anything. In the summertime this place looks like it would be lots of fun.

Worth a visit if in Port Moody.

Yellow dog has great tasting beer and open space for sitting. They won couple of bc beer awards. Worth it to check them out. Taste clean and nice beers. Chase my tail is pretty good!
Limited parking space and street parking you need to pay now.

I like this brewery but almost all breweries are so dog friendly and yet YELLOW DOG is not. There is one table you can sit at. The “dog park” outside patio is not dog friendly. Sign says it’s because of Fraser Health but as a restaurant owner I know that is not true. Dogs are absolutely allowed on patios! I think a name change or a policy change is needed 🙂

A Special Place Since Day One

I first visited Yellow Dog Brewery back in 2014, shortly after they opened. At the time, they had a tiny tasting area with just a couple of barrels serving as tables—but even then, you could feel the heart and passion behind the place. Since that first visit, Yellow Dog has become one of my all-time favourite spots.

Over the years, I've made countless memories here. It's my go-to place to catch up with friends, unwind, and enjoy a consistently great atmosphere. The team has grown, the space has expanded, but the soul of the brewery has stayed the same.

"Chase My Tail" has always been my favourite beer—refreshing, balanced, and exactly what a pale ale should be. If you haven't tried it yet, you're missing out.

Thank you, Yellow Dog, for being a part of so many good times. Here's to many more!
