My friends took me out for dinner, I loved this restaurant but service was pretty slow. I didn’t mine as I had food company, if I bring the family will make sure to pack some coloring or something for the little ones. It took about an hour for the entrees to arrive and mine had a short brown/blonde hair—I sent the food back. I took one star off due to that—accidents happen… but then they charged us for the food that we did not eat because of the hair. The staff did end up fixing the bill but there was no discount for the hair in the food. For the review of the food— the salad was really good, I ended up enjoying the pesto pasta dish. It was made fresh, the colors were a vibrant green, the seasoning was great. The desserts were delicious. I enjoyed the tiramisu. I have only been here once but the food was good enough I will likely try it again sometime.

The interior is really European and stylish and the handmade pastas have really generous portion size！
The tiramisu after dinner was great as well and we can't wait to come back soon！

Really love this little Italian place in Port Moody. Great place to have breakfast/brunch, coffee and dinner. It’s normally pretty quiet and cozy. We went there on a weekday night, and happened to run into the Taste of Tri-cities menu ($79 for two.) We got one appetizer, two pastas, and one dessert. It was a good deal👌🏻 Friendly and attentive service. The food was pretty decent in relation to its price. Would recommend! Great place to have a date night;)

Went there on July 4, 2025 - another great meal was served!! Really enjoyed every plate on the table. The complementary appetizer was a bonus to the experience. Thank you povera’s team for doing such great job. Keep up the good work serving the locals❤️

Found our way in on a random Tuesday night and honestly, kinda really wowed us.

We came in kind of blind just grabbing a 7pm reso off of google maps late in the afternoon. We were looking for some good pasta within 15-20 mins of Guildford where my Toronto work pals were lodged and boy did this place deliver.

The atmosphere is super lovely. Felt like an old school Italian smoking lounge or something. Very cozy, like someone’s nonna had built a dining room.

We landed at the reso time 7pm and were sat right away by the big window. Tons of solid sunset light.

While we waited for a final friend to land, we started with a couple cocktails and appies. The option to sbagliato the negroni was a nice touch. The cheese and meat platter was varied, well stocked and not short of shaved Parmesan.

Pasta wise - we went for the bomba with salmon (which I whole heartedly recommend) and the penne pesto, which for such a simple sounding pasta received a lot of love at the table.

The house wines were great and the unique glassware for the Italian beers was a cool vibe builder.

We finished with dual affogatos and the lemon sorbet which was exactly the tart sweet lemon hit we were craving at the end. Punchy and fresh, big fans.

Overall - we were a bit stunned and unprepared for such a solid sunset dinner experience. Seems everything just aligned from the table selection to the weather, to the vibe set by the staff, and the food - which was kinda unreal.

I’d say tell your friends about this place! But also… please don’t 😂

Quaint little place with amazing service and really good food. We enjoyed our visit, the cucumber martini was refreshingly delicious and the house wine was smooth. We were surprised with a complimentary antipasto plate along side our appetizers, the Zuppa di Pomodoro and the Insalata Romana; both were excellent. Spaghetti e Polpette was tasty but we didn’t care much for the big chunks of beef and pork in the Lasagna Di Maiale e Manzano, would definitely opt for the Lasagna Agli Spinaci next time.

Overall was alright… meh 🫤 Foods are not what we would expect to be like over the top of those Italian restaurants we tried before. It was not bad but we expected more from the price and the nice environment… service was great.

Went for lunch with friends. Able to get foods not on menu for lunch. Friendly service and even offered a nice tiramisu for my friend's birthday. The atmosphere is wonderful and a great place for lunch. I felt the portions were small for the price but the food was delicious.
