The atmosphere is vibrant and chill all at the same time. The patio is not loud for traffic I was not aware of the cars at all. Staff super friendly and give great suggestions.

We started with Strawberry Mojito's and they were refreshing as well as well balanced. We could have had more than one with ease if we did not have stuff to do. They went down too easy and if ordering be prepared to want 3 or 5 more.

My friend had the Yorkshire Benny
House-made Yorkshire pudding, hollandaise, soft-medium poached eggs,
smashbrowns. Choice of hard ham, bacon or avocado

He loved it, he barely wanted to chat as he was so focused on it. I was told I must get it next time, and I think I may.

I had the Southern Chicken & Waffle
Crispy chicken, sauteéd kale, bourbon syrup, spicy hollandaise, house-made
beer & bacon jam

I added the side of 2 Blueberry Sausages and 2 medium poached eggs.

Let me start with the sausages both my friend and used the term like crack as these could be addictive and habit forming. The taste was insane good and not dry, cooked to perfection.

The chicken and waffle was amazing and the kale was good as well. This was well balanced and packed with more flavor than I expected. It looks not like a lot of food but it is and worth what they charge for it.

They get busy so be prepared for a possible wait for a table but know the wait is worth it for the food and service you will receive.

I always pass by The Hard Bean on my way to Rocky Point Park and finally had the chance to try it out today as my friend and I have heard wonderful things about it from those around us. Unfortunately, the meal did not live up to the hype.

Our appies were great - sweet potato waffle fries and turkey sausage corn dogs. I ordered the Yorkshire Benny with ham and loved the concept of using Yorkshire pudding in place of an English muffin. Eggs were perfectly poached medium.

The hash browns were such a disappointment - I felt that they were overly starchy, not crispy enough, and underseasoned.

My friend ordered the Hard Bean hash and also found the potatoes meh - albeit not as meh as I found them because she had sauce and other delights mixed in with her taters.

Overall: good, but not great. I would recommend ordering sharables and skipping the mains altogether!

It’s been a while since we last visited The Hard Bean for brunch, and we had almost forgotten how much we loved it! But our recent visit reminded us of why we're such big fans. The place was buzzing with energy, the music was great, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. To top it all off, the prices were very reasonable, with some drinks available for just $6 all day. We're so glad we went back and can't wait to return again!

The hash was delicious, egg was poached perfectly. Basic breakfast with Maple blueberry sausage and egg was satisfactory.

Service was subpar. The bartender/coffee machine person was sloppy (made couple messes at the station, quite unsanitary. He didn’t follow up with us at all either.

We had a pretty mixed experience here. Tried a bunch of different dishes but honestly, nothing really stood out—in fact, most of it was underwhelming. The servers themselves were super friendly and helpful, but it felt like there was no real management or coordination behind the scenes. Loved the location and the vibe, but overall, not enough to make me want to come back.

Hard bean brunch Co is a nice and cozy establishment that offers tasty food and great service. It’s nestled in a quiet little community in Port Moody. Sometimes we get take out and enjoy it at Rocky point.
We dine in regularly but today my girl and I ordered via Uber. We had eggs benny, burger, chicken bites and corn dogs. All the items were delicious. The burger was made to perfection with a soft juicy patty and the sauce used was flavourful. The corn dogs are a delight. The sausage used for the corn dog has a sweet taste to it. It comes with a dipping sauce as well. We enjoyed it because it’s so different. The eggs benny I chose to have with avocado. The hollandaise was nice and the eggs were Made perfectly. The consistency with the dishes here does not go unnoticed.

Like margarita and waffles are great. We tried the tiramisu and the strawberry waffles. Truffle fries were great as well and very generous portion.

The food was phenomenal! Excellent service. All the staff work very well together, the waitress we had; Jasmine was very sweet and checked on her section of tables often to see if any of us needed refills and how we were enjoying the meal

We initially were being sat inside where it was decently loud both patrons and music, but after asking and them seeing the note in the reservation, there was a short wait, roughly 10 minutes to be able to be seated outside.

There was a small mix up with the Benny's but Jasmine and the manager Mike were both extremely prompt in getting the issue fixed.

Overall a fantastic dining experience and we will be back.
