I'd call it a hidden gem but the locals know how amazing Julie's is. Takes home cooking to a new level and the service is excellent. Lots of in house made items and tasty food. My friend had the Spring rolls and Wonton soup, all made in house and was amazing! My other friend had the Eggs Benedict with hand cubed hash browns, or you can have shredded. I had the 6oz housemade hamburger with onion rings. The relish on it was very good. The menu has lots to choose from and the have daily menu specials.
One thing I noticed is they do half orders which is great especially considering the size of the meals a half order would be a big meal from some people.
Highly recommend Julie's. You won't be disappointed and you definitely won't leave hungry!

Absolutely love this place! The airplane decor is so fun to look at, and it totally adds to the experience.

Our server was friendly and totally on the ball with coffee refills.

I got the daily feature, which was a smoked salmon benny with the pan fried hash-browns (shown in pic). It was delicious!!! My family got a variety of other meals; the omelette, and the pilot breaky, and also the strawberry waffle). Everything came out hot and fresh and was well enjoyed by all. This place will be at the top of our list for brekky and lunch for our next visit to Powell River.

Note: if you’re looking for a lighter meal, we learned you can sub out your starchy side for a fruit cup, and I definitely recommend. The bowl has lots of berries and was delightful! Tough to give up potatoes though—which were also delish.

Busy diner with prompt efficient service. Lots of ways to customize your breakfast but most options are essentially variations on standard diner breakfast. Prices are reasonable, and it's open pretty much every day.

Won't knock the food but won't sing it's praises either. Many airplanes and airplane themed things which add some kitsch.

One of the most unique places you'll find anywhere for breakfast. A huge number of high-quality model aircraft are displayed, which is fitting since the restaurant sits alongside the Powell River Airport. But the decorations are only part of the reasons to visit. The food was excellent.

Fantastic eatery in Powell River. The portion sizes are big, the food is expertly cooked, and the atmosphere is quaint with a cute airplane theme. They are very accommodating to families and kids. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

Very unique place. Aircraft theme with tons of photos, models and other things.
Food is good, but too much carbs for me. Very friendly and talkative servers who seems to know most of the customers in this cafe. Which means there are lots of repeat patrons.
A must see place in Powell River!
