At this price point we were expecting a lot more. Especially considering the website specifies there are more amenities and the cleaning fee would also indicate a certain level of cleanliness that we unfortunately didn't experience.
The tent itself was lovely and the beds were cozy. There was no light in our tent though, luckily we brought a flashlight. Make sure you come prepared.
There are several services listed on the website and ZERO of them were made available to us. There was no information provided about massage, walking tours or traditional healing. There was never anyone at the bar to serve us even though the open sign was on. There were no games available that we could see. This is frustrating because you are advertising and charging like a "resort" but not actually providing any of these services.
The shared kitchen was filthy, there was broken glass on the counter, the dishes were dirty and there were no sponges or kitchen towels available to clean them ourselves. There was no drinking water available. Again you are charging extra for a cleaning fee but not cleaning....
The toilets were filthy as well. Which I know you can't control how people use them (one was entirely saturated with urine!) but if you're charging an extra cleaning fee I would expect things to be clean.
Lastly, there were guests that loudly arrived at midnight and then proceeded to have loud sex in the tent next to us. We had a 4 year old with us and even if we didn't it was disgusting and inappropriate. I know this is beyond the owners control but I guess just be aware of the type of crowd the place brings if you're planning a family vacation.
We feel like we were entirely ripped off, they are charging resort prices but actually just providing a tent. Yes it's "camping" and if they were transparent about this and charged a more reasonable price it wouldn't be an issue. Be warned about the lack of amenities so you can pack and prepare accordingly.
We did contact the owners about all this and unsurprising weren't responded to so don't expect any customer service either.

I booked this place to celebrate my husband's birthday. The Eagle Nest tent was beautiful, and the surroundings were really nice. However, the porta-potty bathroom was disgusting—I literally dehydrated myself just to avoid using it!
The website mentions a kitchen and encourages guests to bring food to cook. I bought steaks and planned to prepare a romantic dinner for my husband, but there was no propane, so we ended up having to go out for dinner. I messaged Tina to ask if someone could bring a full propane tank, but she never replied.
We stayed two nights, and I didn’t see any other campers. Perhaps because we were the only ones there, they didn’t bother to ensure the kitchen was ready for use. This was disappointing, especially since I had been planning this for months.
The showers had only one towel, which looked used—just hanging and damp, not folded. As much as I really liked the tents, the overall experience was a letdown. I was planning to book four tents for my adult kids and grandkids so we could all enjoy a little getaway, but I don’t think I will now.
There was no one available to talk to, ask for towels, or address any issues. Additionally, there was a coffee machine, but no filters, so we had to buy our own.
Please take all of this into consideration if you’re thinking of booking here.

Although the location is ideal for the BC Ferries, I would not recommend staying here. It was slightly hard to find from the road as the “private drive” was hidden from the main road behind hedges. We passed it a few times until we realized where it was. When we got to the location, we realized the “resort” were just tents propped in someone’s side yard. Although the tents looked nice from the outside, we were disappointed with the overall atmosphere as the website falsely advertised the area. From the website, it seemed as if there would be actual bathrooms on property, but instead there were port-a-potties in the middle of the tents. The check-in process was bizarre where they wanted pictures of both the confirmation email and an ID. I don’t think they check this, though, and anyone can practically stay there if they wanted. The most disappointing thing was that our bed was never cleaned from the previous visitor. The sheets and pillows were slept in and the bed was just a straight up mess. You can tell they never took the time to clean their place between guests. When we tried to call the number that is listed on their site as well as was given with our confirmation email, it was a disconnected number and we could not leave a message. We tried to email the listed email to kindly ask for sheets to be changed as we understand sometimes things happen and life gets in the way. We explored the surrounding area to give them time to see our email in hopes they would change the sheets. However, we never heard back from them and after 3 hours of waiting we returned back to the tent to see if anything was changed. Unfortunately, the tent was in the state we left it as. We debated sleeping in our car for the night as we weren’t comfortable sleeping in sheets other guests slept and did who knows what in. After much debate, we decided to make the bed and sleep over all the covers in the clothes we flew in. There was a little throw blanket we were going to use, but it was covered in leaves, bugs, and an odd sticky substance. When we woke up to catch the ferry, we woke up 3 hours early as we didn’t want to stay at Ocean Edge any longer, changed in our car, and went on our way to try to find breakfast. This place was not as advertised by any means and we felt scammed by the whole ordeal. We were incredibly disappointed with the lack of interaction with the owners/staff and the disgusting state the tent was left in.

I was really looking forward to a weekend away with my family. Social media definitely made this place look better/nicer than it actually was. The photos on social media and the website are clearly edited/filtered. Theres nothing that shows or tells you that the “retreat” is in someone’s backyard. The rooms are laid out nicely and the bed was comfy, but after looking a bit closer there were stains on the bedding. The bathrooms (outhouses) were not cleaned daily. The website states wifi internet, which there was not. No place to book massages, yoga as per the website. This retreat is made to seem like it will be a calming experience, but the owner played very loud music (house music) via large speakers for most of the day and into the evening. I had a 2 year old with me who wanted to go to bed but due to the loud music played by the owner! He could not. This accommodation is far from a “relaxing retreat” like they state on the website and social media.

I had a brief but truly refreshing experience at Ocean Edge Eagle Retreat. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful, perfect for unwinding and reconnecting with nature. The retreat is beautifully maintained, with clean surroundings and a welcoming vibe that immediately puts you at ease.
The views are absolutely breathtaking — you can almost hear the ocean whispering in the breeze. Even though my visit was short, I could feel the attention to detail and care the management has put into the space. It’s the kind of place that makes you wish you had more time to just relax, reflect, and recharge.
I definitely look forward to visiting again for a longer stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a serene getaway!

DO NOT STAY HERE. THIS IS A SCAM.
What you see advertised on the website is 100% false.
I accompanied my parents who drove down to Tsawwassen from Vancouver at night. My mother followed the sketchy self check-in instructions which required you to send copies of your ID to Tina, the "owner" of the place. The owner confirmed receipt but did not give us a code to entry the tiny house we were supposed to stay in. Emails and phone calls to Tina went unanswered from the night of our arrival to the day of our supposed check-out (two days later).
Do NOT expect help and do NOT expect anything if you come here. In the evening various guests were lost as well because the tents on the ground have no numbers or letters. It was pitch black at night and people were opening tents to see if they were occupied or empty.
$500+ dollars GONE. Do NOT come here. Fortunately my parents were able to come back to Vancouver. I am incredibly angry that that Tina would leave paying guests stranded.

What a joke! Do not stay here. Ignore the positive reviews as they have obviously paid folks or bots to add them in online. It is basically tents in someone's yard where you can hear the highway and boat horns. The shared kitchen is an outdoor counter and sink. Gross outhouses for bathrooms. Did not used the wooder shower areas, they looked okay. This place is maybe worth $30-60 per night for backpackers or campers. They obviously used AI to write the description on the website. It is all very deceptive. If you look carefully there are typos and address info missing, etc. It seems like someone who is house poor and is just trying to make ends meet has set this up. We came at check in time and there were still cleaners emptying garbage and vacuuming things. After seeing the set up we were ready to cancel and go somewhere else but you can only get a refund if you cancel 4+ days ahead of time. We were worried about being cold and wanted extra blankets. I texted/called/emailed and we still have not heard from anyone. The phone number didn't even have a way to leave messages. Shame on this place!!
