Me and my boyfriend has stayed in several places like this in Richmond and this one I like the best because of how welcoming they are . very nice and easy going. The people were warm,friendly and very generous. There is a language barrier because they speak little English that became lil problem in the end because of how pleasant the stay was. There daughter is around to help translate if needing something in particular to say.||I will recommend this and for sure go back.||love the area 5 minutes from the village all was convenient and relaxing. I Wish more people ran their place like them

I don't think it can be deemed a hotel. It's more of a house share. If you prefer a house share, it's quite good, but for our style of travel, we prefer hotels or entire flat/house rental and hence was not to our liking. Rooms don't get cleaned during your stay, no TV in the rooms, they state its noise insulated but it is anything but. The house is a noise magnet. It seems to have all the disadvantages of staying in a hotel (rooms cleaned, TV in room) and of staying in a private apartment (lack of privacy, you have to follow house rules etc.). The host is a very nice person, humble and genuine, unfortunately it was not what we thought we were getting into. It is most definitely not a hotel and it is a house share. We were unaware of this and the websites do not mention it and misleading. Due to this, giving it a low rating. On the whole it was just an 'OK' experience in a "hotel" during our 18 days in Canada. The rest of the trip comprised of hotels and private apartments and it was clear what we were getting. ||The house belongs to a Chinese gentleman. Not very good with communicating in English. The house as such is very nice but the rooms lack any attention to detail. It is very basic. Although the beds are very comfortable. Its noise proof as long as you whisper in the house and other house guests adhere to these rules. During our stay it was very quiet and we had no issues. Bottom line is, this is not a hotel but a house share. How good the experience would be is based on the room you get. We stayed for 3 nights - a private bathroom room for the first night (did not like it) and then an upper floor EnSuite for the other two (was quite good)

房东燕老板很nice，热情好客，帮忙拎行李上二楼房间，又开车送我们到Richmond Downtown坐Sky train，还介绍当地旅游景点和风土人情，床铺弄脏了马上给客人更换。房子装修很精美有品味，有枫叶国特色，整洁安静，还有漂亮的小花园。客人可以使用厨具、冰箱、洗衣机、干衣机，性价比高，适合自驾游的家庭居住。附近有7.11便利店、Shopper超市、407公交车站；离渔人码头不远，步行20-30分钟到；离温哥华国际机场近。

Great place to stay but they false advertised, on their website it says there's a hottub, there wasn't. Everything was very clean, the beds were very uncomfortable, there was fast free wifi. Owners were very helpful and helped carry bags, although couldnt speak too much english, their daughter translated when needed

Excellent value and good accomdations! We paid $141 USD for 2 bedrooms!
