A Flavorful Gem for Ice Cream Lovers in White Rock 🍦

Ricardo’s is a vibrant, family-friendly stop packed with color, flavor, and energy. From bubble tea to coffee to a remarkable selection of ice creams and gelatos, this shop has something for everyone.

I ordered the pistachio gelato, and I can confidently say—it’s one of the best I’ve ever had. Ever. Rich, creamy, and bursting with natural pistachio flavor. The cones are fresh, the variety is impressive, and the service was friendly and fast. Our kids loved it, and it’s easy to see why this is a popular destination for families.

That said, since this is a high-traffic location, I’d suggest paying a bit more attention to cleanliness. On our visit, there was an unpleasant smell inside—possibly related to a washroom issue. While I don’t want to discredit the shop for what may have been a one-time situation, a bit more attention in this area could greatly enhance the overall experience.

Still, for the quality of the gelato alone, this is a must-visit for any ice cream enthusiast. Wishing the team at Ricardo’s continued success—and cleaner air next time!

Best ice cream shop in town. Must try is their gelato. We tried ricardo’s special and mughal murti(not sure the name of this one) but absolutely yummy and mouthwatering. Their place is aesthetically pleasing and good ambiance. You can see outside the window and view is good. They have more than 80+ flavours so hard to decide but that’s the kind of choice risk i am willing to have. Place is always packed so takes good 10 minutes to order. Its packed for a reason though so if you are visiting white rock it is a must try

Average quality as the place is definitely more of a location premium vs. high quality ice cream. Pretty confused about the high rating on the ice cream itself. If you have been to any decent ice cream shops in Vancouver (e.g. Ernest), this place doesn't stand out in any way. I suppose the beautiful views outside do enhance the flavour? I would've rated it a 4-star except the service was trash. A group of grumpy folks who looked like they didn't want to be there working. One dude certainly gave it some attitude reminding me sampling is limited to two only, when I had shown no signs of trying to shamelessly sample lol. Goodness, if you behave like the world owes you, get a different job.

From the moment I walked in, Arsh greeted me with a bright smile and the kind of energy that could melt even the coldest scoop. She was patient, helpful, and clearly knew her flavors (which helped because I was struggling to decide!). Her recommendation was best Spot on. Her vibe are Even better.

There’s just something about the way she adds that extra scoop of kindness and charm that makes the whole experience feel special. If you’re ever in the mood for a treat—go for the ice cream, but stay for Arsh’s great service and sweet personality. Thanku A for Arsh ✨

Absolutely disgusted with the level of service at Ricardo’s. I walked in expecting a pleasant experience, but was instead met with the most disrespectful and dismissive attitude from the staff. When I politely asked to use their washroom — a basic human need — I was outright denied with a flat-out lie: “We don’t have a washroom.” This is laughable . The shop was open, running, and serving people, yet they refused to allow a paying customer access to their facilities. This is not only unethical, it’s downright inhumane.

What kind of establishment offers drinks and desserts but denies a restroom? Cheap and classless service like this makes you wonder how they’re still in business. The staff were cold, dismissive, and had zero regard for customer care. If you're looking for hospitality, this is the last place to find it. Shame on Ricardo’s — your treatment of customers is nothing short of pathetic.
